  1. It's been a journey This is from memory so my I might be off on some values here or there.I initially had a Disney Visa in the past wit ha $16000 limit, and I believe a Chase Slate with $5000 a limit. About 2yrs ago app'd the Chase Freedom Unlimited, initial credit line as $25K. As soon as I received that card I called an EO for lending services and combined the old Disney and Slate account into the Freedom Unlimited for a total credit line of $46K and closed the Disney and the Slate card. About a month later I app'd the CSR initial credit limit was at $28K. 2 years have past and I double app'd the Disney and an Amazon Prime card. $15k AND $10 limits respectively. I called an EO yesterday for lending services and asked to move my credit lines around. I told the EO what lines I wanted on each card resulting in the following. CSR $50k Freedom Unlimited $29K Disney $10K Amazon $10K Total exposure to Chase is $99K TLDR; I app'd new tradelines and moved credit lines around. Thank you Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Well done !!! How did you get there? What was the original LOC? Did they do it automatically or did you apply? Thank you Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Don’t worry !!!!!! It can happen to anybody. some time you can predict what life has in store. At least you able to recognize that there is a problem and are willing to deal with it. [emoji6] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Could you please expand on the reason why you think applying for new line of credit ? Especially with this respectable credit score Thank you Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. It sounds that they are trying to close your file too. One think that happen to me, in a similar situation, is that at the end of the year I received from the debt collector a 1099 for the difference that was charged off. In other words, if the original amount is $ 10,000.00 and you settle for 40 percent, you MIGHT get a 1099 for $6,000. In my case, because I own my own business, my accountant was able to outset it. Please be aware that this was in the late 1990s. I don’t know if this would apply to your situation but I would call your accountant or even H&R Block and ask them about so that you don’t get any bad surprises next year. I hope this was helpful Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Can you post the letter with out your personal informations? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Finally heard back from Well Fargo about the payment that I had made to Synchonity bank !!!!!! Apparently Synchronity bank changed the P.O. Box to where the payment was supposed to be send. Wells Fargo was pretty good at crediting my account. Unfortunately when I contacted Synchronity they said because they did not receive any payment that they were going to charge me $35. I ended up paying the whole balance and probably will not use them again. Left the account open though to help with the debt ratio. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  10. First of all you might want to tone it down !!!! I am not buddy or some guy that you speak like in you office Second I went through the exact scenario with a state tax lean Third You sound like a scum bag debt collector that is trying to get a person that has financial issues into a situation that will have long term consequences Unless you are an credit right attorney or tax attorney, find some other hobby that can just hurt you and not people that are in need of sound financial help Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Stay away from these guys. I would not write back at all !!!!!! You are giving out your informations to a debt collector that is probably NOT even licensed operate in the state of Iowa. Also, the statue of limitation is ten year from 2008 unless you made any payments which would re start the SOL. It's 2017 !!!!! If you choose to either pay these people off or the the state, remember that they will update the informations and it will be treated as NEW PAID public record which can stay on your reports for the next seven years. If you pay them make sure you get a tax lien release from them but that they DO NOT file it with the court house. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. So, here what I would do. 1). Request your three credit bureau from each of the credit report agencies that I told yo before. 2). Check if they (credit agencies) show your old address where you received the tax lien notification. 3). If they do, call each of the bureau that has that old address and tell them to that you are NOT associated with that address any more and you are very concerned about identity theft so please remove it from your report. Once that is done, 4). Contact Lexus Nexus, they are an agency that usually is used by the three main credit bureaus to verify tax liens and public records, and tell them that you want your file frozen. 5). After this step dispute the tax lien with each of the main credit bureaus that it shows up. 6). If they come back as verified, search on credit board for "new tax lien and judgment requirements for credit bureaus to report" I think as of July of this year there are more stricter rules for credit bureaus have to fallow to being able to report tax leans. Good luck !!!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
