  4. Thanks! Went back again and got to $3500! Awesome! We buy groceries at Walmart so I only use it for that and get the 3% off then PIF but love having the line bumped up. Thanks for all of the info here! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks for this! My limit was $400 and I asked for and received a increase to $2500... I should have asked for more. Has anyone gone back for seconds? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Does anyone have experience disputing with Experian after they have verified? They are now saying they won't reinvestigate because it was previously investigated (before I knew about LN etc...) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Good info here. Helped me a lot! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. I have heard that 100% financing does have higher interest rates but I thought NFCUs program had no PMI... maybe that is the only one that doesn't so I can't count on that. I totally agree about the car payments, one will definitely be gone soon. I actually don't have much credit card debt at all... about $1900 total debt. I think hubby has about $4000. It definitely is a big financial commitment which is why I'm trying to get guidance as to where to start and what to consider. Rent seems to keep going up so at some point it seems like you might pay less with a mortgage payment depending on purchase price, interest etc... Thanks for giving me a lot to think about. 10. Thanks for the response! We are just starting to think about doing this since we are paying that money every month... we might as well be paying toward something for us. How much savings do banks like to see even if financing 100% ?What DTI is allowed for financing? I wonder if closing some credit cards might be a good move also to lower the DTI ratio?I just don't really have any basic info. Would it be better for DTI to try to work out a payment for the SL even though its in deferment? Most of the time now they will negotiate a payment based on your income. Thanks Again! 11. Hi All, I'm pretty new to this and just trying to find out what I should be doing to get in a better position to buy a house. Here is a bit of info: Married, I make 73k,time at this job is 3 months but > 10 years in my field. hubby is on disability and brings in 19k Monthly debt: I have 60k in student loans, in deferment until 8/17. I have about 6 cc, until at 19%. Monthly payments are about $250. Hubby has about the same in cc debt but his util is higher. 2 car notes at $605 and $534 though I will be likely selling my car($534) since I work from home now. Credit. My FICO ( not mortgage) are 631, 640, 669... Hubby is 597, 649, 664. I filed for ch13 in 4/13 but it was dismissed. We have no savings really. I'm not even sure what lenders will look for... would love to do a 100% financing but do we still need to have savings? How much? Will time since BK be a problem? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Do they report to all 3? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Credithelp823 you aren't alone. I'm going through this process also. 9 months seems like forever right now but it's well worth it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Interested in this answer also since I just signed up for rehab. It is my understanding that is does stay the same until the 9th payment is made. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Hi all, what is the rule regarding getting approved after a BK is dismissed? I filed because of one large debt to a creditor and ended up settling and making payments on the debt. Can't find any info regarding a BK that was dismissed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
