  1. I opened a military star credit card in January of 2012. I had a perfect paying history until October 2014 through December 2014. I thought I had set up automatic payments for the payment to come out and did not. When I realized what had happened, I phoned customer service around January 15, 2015 to catch the payments up. They refused any payments and informed me that my account had been sent to collections. I tried several times via telephone to get a payment in to catch up the card to no avail. Yesterday is the first time I received anything from Transworld about this account. Should I just agree to pay them, a collection agency, and set up payment arrangements. I owe $3500 give or take.

  3. Yes I have received a response from all 3 CRA now. I have received all CAs removed from Experian; one of the OC is showing on my Transunion report instead of the CA, That is IMPOSSIBLE OC health care providers are prohibited from reporting directly. Are you SURE you are not just seeing the NAME of the OC on a CA entry?YES, I AM SURE. the rest are gone from Transunion: and Equifax deleted all but one of the CA and that one came back verified. I have not received any response from the CA and thy have had 30 days to respond. Equifax is sending all results of my disputes online. I went in the back door to check on the status and found that they sent it via online and not mail. Help??? I don't know why you are getting your results on line instead of by mail. I would guess that you had SOME kind of prior dispute or correction that you did on line or by phone-- (address deletion??)

SCA sent the following letters regarding the two paid and one unpaid medical accounts: "Dear Sir/Madam: Per our client's request, we have made the necessary adjustments to the above referenced account and we have sent the information to the credit bureaus for removal of the item from your credit report. Please allow the credit bureaus 30-45 days to complete this request. Thank you for your attention to this matter. .........................' I am still waiting to hear from the other two. Thank you for your help. Little by little, I am getting there>>

  7. Yes, I have opted out, deleted old addresses, received all 3 paper credit reports with their own ID #s, and used the format for the initial dispute via priority mail with a tracking number. Sorry for the miscommunication of certified mail instead of priority mail. Franklin Collections-No date of service. Date assigned 4/2015: 1st date of delinquency 10/2013 Balance 0 (because I paid it before I joined earlier this year) Financial Data Systems- No date of medical service. reported 3/2015: assigned 2/19/2015 : unpaid: dOFD; 9/2014 (I know that this one is from eye surgery I had back in 2005. But it reports as if it was 3/2015) SCA collections- No date of medical service. Reported 3/2016. Assigned 6/2010. DOFD 12/2009: Bal. $0 ( another one I paid prior to knowledge of Creditboard) SCA-No date of medical service. Reported 2/2016. Assigned 6/2015.DOFD; 1/2015: Bal. $0 ( paid this one too before CB) SCA- No date of medical service. Reported 5/2016. Assigned 12/2015.:DOFD: 07/2015: Unpaid
  8. I sent the initial dispute letter to Equifax on July 18 using certified mail. They received it on 7/20/2016 @5:05am. I have not received anything from Equifax as a response to the collections on my account. I have both paid collections and unpaid collections. I am unclear on which follow-up to the CRA to use.? I have signed up for credit check total and all but one account is still showing plus an additional new one. My July Equifax Fico score was 618, now 608. The status updates on credit check total has August 2016 dates. Help? Do I send certified mail letter to CRA again?
