  1. So you're saying make sure I wait at least 60 days after balances first report much lower (and CO falls off of course) before pursuing a "real" loan? Also I assume "gaming" refers to paying things off to boost score and such?
  2. Well I'm certainly not a credit nerd, but my credit has been dog crap for the last 10 years due to lack of income/college/grad school/bad decisions, etc. I finally got a decent salaried job in early 2015, then got a major opportunity about 2 years ago with a much higher paying job in the same industry. Since then I've been able to get out of the payday cycle, but still have a couple high interest personal loans I'd like to consolidate.
  3. Thank you for the reply. I have 7 cards...so you're saying I should just have a small balance on one of those and not all of them, correct?
  4. Thanks for your input. All of them actually will be reporting a zero balance. Last year I did the same thing and I got up to near 700, but the collection was still on there. I was really hoping to get ~100 pt increase. Maybe that's too generous...
  5. My score is currently 610, and will have collection from PRA REMOVED within a week or so. It is the only one I have on my report and is about 2 years old. What sort of boost might I expect from this? Additionally, I just paid off all credit cards, lowering my utilization from 95% to around 10%. I'm really hoping for something big here. Lots of lates from 4-5 years ago, but nothing more recent than 3. Thanks!
  6. Thanks for the info creditrepair2014. I just did my Transunion and went ahead with the small fee to see my score. Are these still considered FAKO or is this the real deal? Trying to get a home loan before year's end.
  7. I am wanting all 3. Since I am using Lex, I'm not exactly sure what my dispute numbers are.
  8. I am trying to access my free annual credit report, and am being given the message that I'm unable to do so because I have items in dispute. Is there any way around this? I really want to see my true report because while my CK score has jumped tremendously in the last few months, I know its not accurate so I'd like to see the real deal while I continue to dispute. Thanks!
  9. I also have positive tradeline on Capital one, Kay jewelers, student loan, and discover card.
  10. Yea I'm not a fan of them at all. I realize they're not real FICO's, but it at least shows that I'm improving a bit. I did, though, accept a 150$ CLI from credit one bank. Also not a fan of them but I figured I just as well accept it.
  11. I know its not what I need for mortgage, as my mid score is 550 for that, but my CreditKarma score has increased from 560 to 601 in the last month. Seems to be reflecting my paying on cards and I've also gotten a couple removals from my report. The improvement was also confirmed to be legit by a sudden onslaught of CLI's from two of my cards, and an offer for a second card. Question is, would it help or hurt to accept a second card offer from First Premier?
  12. Thanks Brian B. I'm currently in talks with a trusted agent about what I need to do in order to get my score where it should be. Should have update in the next few days.
  13. Yea I'm just not sure I can't really tell. It's like the balance is not reporting becusse everything else adds up...? Don't know it's weird
  14. Well chocolate. I don't know what to do anymore. Damn.
  15. They are using the balance and the limit???
