The Master 2% Back/No AF Thread (Don't Settle for Less!)
ftpwatcher replied to cv91915's topic in Credit Forum
I was going to recommend this one, but being late to the party I'd like to mention that Alliant Platinum Rewards 2% and no AF could be a great option to downgrade to from Alliant 3% signature card after the first year and b4 the annual fee hits. -
If your scores allows it and if you're under 5/24 you should definitely go for Chase CC. Chase has some very good cards and if you'll be good to them they more likely than not will be good to you. When you stay away from MS especially for the sign up bonuses, MO deposits and churning in general you should be all good for the long and rewarding (travel) relationship with Chase.

Master List of Your Top Three Highest Limits (dynamic -- update)
ftpwatcher replied to hegemony's topic in Credit Forum
Cap 1 Quicksilver $34K Wally $25K NFCU $25K /my newest addition/ -
I got approved today for Alliant Cashback Visa Sig cc. Pulled the trigger yesterday night hoping for instant approval. It went pending, but today morning nice surprise, an email stating approval with 20k CL. They pulled TU, Fico 760. My 2011 BK7 still reporting on all three. Later on today I asked Amex for cli on my OBC it went 11k>15k on the instant. They always denied my requests in the past.

Is Chase Freedom an automatic denial with BK Showing?
ftpwatcher replied to Menta33's topic in Credit Forum
When you apply online for any Chase CC with bk reporting on your files their system will auto-deny you just for that reason. Wait for the letter and don't be affraid to call their recon number. If your CR is clean except that bk I think you have a good chance to be approved. Freedom is not by any means their premium card therefore they might set you up with the initial toy limit. There are plenty of options available on the market today. You can find some interesting information here: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/high-interest-savings-to-get/

I'm unaware of any up to date newbie thread. My recommendation would be to read, read and read some more because all the info you need is here on CB. You can start using the search and google search function in the top right corner. You can also start your own thread and ask questions related to your particular situation. This link might help https://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=511432&hl=+master%20+american%20+express&page=1 Good luck with your journey.

All the personal information you can dispute either online or by phone. Anything else should be done in writing by sending regular mail CMRR. If you like some more info than start here https://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=528144&page=1

my earlier version of that post said something that turned out to be incorrect. I'm now waiting on TU to respond to my second CFPB complaint. Thank you for clarifying this. I hope you have more luck with the second complaint. Please keep us posted.

What do you mean by that? I was really hoping for you to succeed with removing that PR from your CR especially that I'm going to do the same with mine.
