  1. I was just going to post about this. I still can't get them to delete two paid judgements that aren't even recorded. I've tried everything for the last two years and they just don't give a $h!t. My other reports are clean but equifax just won't delete. Anyone think they'll think twice now or not?
  2. These are the only lates and the rest is clean (Experian only! First clean report in about 10 years and I just started credit boards in Oct) I'm not expecting much, but I was googling and saw some posts (not on credit boards) where people saw 90-100 point increase and others have actually had a 15-30 point decrease. Yikes! I just don't want the drop.
  3. Good question. I don't know. Vacation...in a place with no internet connection? I thought the response that came back from Equifax via my CFPB complaint was what I was waiting for. No? I'm waiting for an actual response from the CFPB?
  4. I posted this in the Student Loans forums, but thought I would post it here since I haven't seen too many posts over there regarding my question. Please delete if you think it's not appropriate here. My husband called Experian today and they are deleting an old student loan 2 months early (was transferred and paid) but was at one point showing about (9) 90 day Lates along with 120+ and worst being 180 (all back in 2009). Just wondering if we will see a score increase. I've read that 90 days + Lates will affect your score until they fall off. Has anyone had this happen and be willing to share your experience with a score change or not.
  5. They are deleting 2 months early so if anyone is close to theirs falling, I'd try with calling Experian.

  7. Whychat, here is the CFPB complaint response: Equifax said: Explanation of closure Equifax has reviewed your complaint and its records regarding your dispute. The Credit Bureau of Alexander account xxxx and xxxxx has verified name, address, birthdate and social security number to be correct as reported on the credit file in reinvestigation case xxxx. The American Accounts Advisory has been deleted from the credit file. Written confirmation was mailed on 07/15/15. I'm confused. So, as long as they have the birthdate, name, address, and ss#, that's all they need to verify? Should I respond and what should I say, or should I wait to see what the follow-up dispute says? Or maybe this is a normal response so they don't look bad with the CFPB and then actually delete the 2 medical accounts in question (I've had that happen to me before).
  8. Thank you. Also it says to "Send a copy of the complaints with another dispute to each CRA." Do I just write a regular dispute or is there a form to follow or what? I know it says to include the following phrase with it. I apologize if my questions, statements don't make sense at times. I have been ill and working towards getting better but still need to get this stuff done so please excuse some of the "dumber than a door knob" questions/statements.
  9. Which do I use for "Which of these best describes your issue?" 1. Incorrect information on credit report 2. Credit reporting company's investigation 3. Improper use of my credit report-NO 4. Unable to get my credit report-NO 5.Credit monitoring or identity protection services-NO
  10. There's a credit bureau (credit bureau of alexandria) who is reporting 3 small accounts ($48, etc etc). They say that they don't have the accounts anymore because they were transferred to como law firm in January. So can CBA report on credit report? Along with 2 medical accounts from 2010? im not sure how that works? If they are the debtor?
  11. I guess I'm more asking Do you help people outside of and away from this forum? As a job (main job/supplemental/etc). Thank you.
