  1. W(t)F PROPEL declined for BestBuy online purchase totalling $166.34. New card and had already used it for approx 20 other transactions. Confirmed via text it was me and had to run it again. At least they didn't want to frisk me in a branch this time.
  2. My Cap1 rebuilder card started with a $2500 limit. It was my first 'real' card after recovering from BK years ago. It's now at $49.5k converted to a Quicksilver. Now one of my highest limit cards.
  3. I still have a PayPal SmartConnect account linked as my backup funding...lol I'm not sure they even offer it any more (also thru Synch) but mine is at $25k and they've never offered me a conversion to the 2% card. It's a great hack though! ETA....my PPSC is one of my oldest accounts post BK so I've kept it active with periodic use. Otherwise, I'd ditch it for the 2% card.
  4. I've missed these pleasant interactions.... I [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  5. Thought I made it unscathed but WF raped my Platinum to go towards the Propel approval....lol, oh well. Total exposure ultimately $17k Propel plus $1k Plat. Neither have AFs so I'll keep them both open, use them more and hit some CLIs. I hadn't used the Plat in a year so I'm not surprised. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  6. My Amazon Store has been capped at $10k for a long time. Some products do seem to have limits I guess. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks for playing. I have a feeling there are some built in limits to this but who knows. I asked for $35k on my Wally and it was declined. Currently at $25k. I bumped Sam's from $7.5k to $15k...requested amount. DW bumped Sam's from $15k to $20k...requested amount. DW bumped ebates from $15k to $20k...requested amount. I bumped a couple other smaller unused cards as well. The big takeaway for me was I was already way over allowed exposure so calling had always yielded denials and unwanted extra scrutiny. Being able to recover a good limit on my ebates and bump some others was a good win. Added around $28k to existing cards via button. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  8. Forgive me if this has been posted. I haven't been around much at all lately. I just wanted to pass this along as this may help some people that don't like UW phone calls. For fun I was testing the luv button on a few of my Synchrony accounts. It is allowing LARGE increases very easily by just entering your requested amount and income. The system will either approve the requested amount, deny the request or counteroffer with an approved amount. Perhaps they got tired of taking so many calls but from my experience today this is just as effective as calling. Not sure how long this will last.....or this is is already common knowledge 😁 Best example I can give you is DW just bumped her Lowe's from $25k to $35k via luv button. That's an instant $10k soft pull CLI with no phone calls or fuss. I had an inactive ebates Visa that got put into retirement because I accidentally let it CLD due to inactivity. The card was at $1,024 and I just bumped it back to $10k. IMPORTANT: You must make sure your TU isn't frozen!
  9. I just went to look where I saw 40k and forgive me, it was for the Propel World that has an AF (waived year 1). More info here if interested... https://www.doctorofcredit.com/best-current-credit-card-sign-bonuses/#Wells_Fargo_Propel_World_40000_Points_In_Branch_Or_Phone
  10. I usually check dates since last CLI and hit the button when paying bills, etc. Congrats on $300k.....I'd say the further you go it's just the effort you put into it. BofA was easy to get to $55k but I haven't tried to push further. Amex overall is higher, Chase is higher, Disco still hates me and Citi just requires too much effort so I take their little bumps when given. DW and I hit all the bonuses that made sense for us over the last 2 years and the end result has been keeping some cards active and closing/combining where possible. We let a few TD Bank cards go from non-use but they were low limits and never grew. I've definitely learned a lot and owe it all to CB. DW is furthering her education this year so we've relied heavily on my income. As it happens, my truck blew up, the AC blew up and our roof is leaking in a 10 year old house. It's been nice to have resources to deal with things and not get stressed out. I worry so many in the Carolinas were unprepared due to the crazy shift in the storm....she's proven over and over again she's going wherever the hell she wants. Hopefully everyone along the coasts heeded the warnings and get the heck out.
  11. Well, almost $800k...ha, need to push a few cards but I've been lazy lately. Thank you. We were originally looking like ground zero for inland flooding before the shift in track. Feel bad for our neighbors to the south though. We stocked up on supplies anticipating the worst. As soon as they start loading up trucks here, we'll donate things for the people that'll really need it. Carolinas are going to get hammered. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  12. Yes, a Platinum at $13k for total exposure of $30k. That card is over a year old and I haven't really applied for anything in a while prior to this approval. No bank accts.... Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  13. I've been absent.... $1500 Disco CLI $20k NFCU Flagship 50k bonus (already had $24k card and $15k LOC) $17k WF Propel 30k bonus (completely missed the phone/walk-in 40k offer) Total limits approaching $800k. God bless you breeze...I love ya. So sad to hear the news. This is a very special place for so many of us. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
