  1. I can't comment on your odds of approval, but just want to clarify a couple things regarding scores...First of all, are these the mortgage scores bought from myFICO? There are many different scoring models, you want the ones that are used for mortgage lending. Also, if you are applying jointly, they will use the LOWER of your MIDDLE scores (not average). So in your case, if those are mortgage scores that you listed, your husband's middle score is 698 and yours is 681...They will use 681 in that case. Good luck!
  2. PIF = Pay in Full DV = Debt Validation (or verification?) MIP = Mortgage Insurance Premium PMI = Private Mortgage Insurance
  3. CLIs aren't instantly reported. They will show up whenever the creditor reports monthly info. So, if the creditor for the card that received the CLI reports after statement cut, you'll see MyFICO update within a few days after that.
  4. OP, which monitoring service from EQ do you have that you are getting these scores from? The "Credit Score Watch" product gives a FICO(04 version I believe), whereas the "Complete Premier" is just a FAKO EQ scoring model which is useless. As said above by hdporter, FICO 04 scores are what you want for a mortgage. If you are getting the FAKO score, there isn't any way to correlate that with FICO. Some people have had differences of 50, even 100 points. Just want to be sure you are looking at the correct information before being alarmed about a score drop.
  5. Hit the button again on 11/16 and got the 2 day message. Logged in today to see +$5000!New CL $19,100 Tried on 1/4 and got the 2-day message again. This time, no CLI. The letter came in the mail today - "Not enough experience with current credit limit."Hit the button again 1/20 - 2 day message+$6000 when I checked today New CL $25,100
  6. Started at $1000 June of 2013. Currently at $19,100 (last CLI was in November). CLI amounts were much higher after my account hit 2 years old. I had received a $400 auto and five luv button $1000 CLIs before June 2015. After that, I had CLIs of $3200, $4500, and $5000. Usage hasn't changed- usually less than $300/month and PIF before statement cut. Income is just under 30K.

  8. Hit the button again on 11/16 and got the 2 day message. Logged in today to see +$5000! New CL $19,100 Has anyone NOT gotten an increase when getting the 2-day message? Seems like it's pretty automatic.
  9. 09/08: +$3200 (91 days from prior CLI) 10/15: Got the 2 day message, signed in today +$4500 New CL $14,100 Account is a little over 2 years old. Spend is $100-$200/month and I PIF before the statement cuts. I'm a happy guy
  10. 06/07: Got the "Pending" 2-3 day message 06/08: No notification (email or otherwise) but checked available credit... +$1000 CL now $6400 Is there any conclusion if scores are being factored in to approval/amount? Discover gets my TU FICO on the 6th of the month, currently at 720. However, I just paid off my student loan (only installment loan); this dropped EQ and EX 31 and 35 points, respectively. It hasn't updated on TU yet, but I suppose it will be a similar drop. If the CLI train keeps rolling, 7/10 would be my first attempt where Discover would have the lower score, assuming TU is updated with the payoff. Now the question is, when is my next 16 days up? 16 days from when I initiated the request on 6/7, or from when it was applied on 6/8? I guess I'll just try on 6/23 and see what happens
  11. Hello everyone, first time poster here! Here's my Disco experience: 06/2013 $1000 SL 09/2014 +$400 Auto CLI Then, via luv button: 03/31/15 +$1000 04/17/15 +$1000 05/06/15 +$1000 05/22/15 +$1000 Current limit = $5400 BK7 reporting since 03/2008, TU FICO 08 score range has been between 714-720 during the "gravy train" period. I run at most $200/month on the card, but typically less than that, and PIF. Prior to 3/31 success, the luv button had always asked for a HP, if it was working at all. I would usually try once per month, after the statement cut. Time of day for the requests has been between 3-4am for all four CLIs. Waiting for attempt #5 on 06/07!
