  1. Hi WhyChat, it has been over two months since the OC received the letter about the account that was not submitted to insurance, and I have not received any information about the collection, nor has it been removed from my credit report. Is there anything else I can do? Also, what should I do about the three collections that were removed from Experian but not Equifax? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    CC Advice needed

Thanks! Should I still get rid of the secured card, or hold onto it? Wait until you have a couple more cards. Then dump that POS either immediately or next time the AF is due if the tied up money doesn't matter to you. Thanks again! I will post afresh when the medical clear and I have a firm idea of which way I want to go.

    CC Advice needed

Hi all, I'm currently looking to perhaps increase my available credit for utilization purposes, and am looking for some advice. Right now I have the following: CapOne QuicksilverOne - $5000 - opened Feb 2015 PFCU (local credit Union) Visa - $2000 - opened Apr 2015 Chase Amazon Visa - $2000 - opened Apr 2015 CapOne Secured - $700 - opened Sep 2014 I don't carry any balances, and currently have about $1000 utilization, which will be paid before the end of the month. My FICO scores (from myFICO) are the following: Eq 701 TU 720 Exp 678 Is it advantageous to add new cards? If so, which ones? I've seen on this board that I can change the QuicksilverOne to a Quicksilver, should I do that or wait until next February? Thanks in advance!

  7. Thanks WhyChat, I will give the letter a chance and let you know the results. Should the letter be sent Priority mail like the others? YES Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Thanks. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Hi WhyChat, I've sent the letter, and they received it on the 18th. Should I expect an answer soon, or give them a while? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

  11. Hi, I have an update regarding the "5001" account that remains on Experian: My son's father called the insurance company. They did not have an EOMB for the visit because it was never submitted to them. He was advised to call the billing office of the original creditor to ask why, and if they could resubmit it. However, I never received a bill for the amount, and the only paperwork I have seen regarding it was an itemized statement, not a bill. Should I call the original creditor at this point? 14. (Just quick reference for Why Chat) Do you have any other verification as to the validity of this account??Do you have your EOB from your insurance for that account?? Hi, this was for my son, he had state insurance through his father at the time, as I was working as a contractor. I can ask his father to get the EOB for that visit. In regards to the three that were verified on Equifax and removed from Experian, is there anything I can do about those? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Removing dispute comments from collections

Hi all, I've been using WhyChat's HIPPA process on medical collections, with success mostly; however, there are four small collections that have not been removed or verified, but updated by the CRAs. These have the notes "disputed by consumer." I was told by my lender that those notes prevented me from going through the preapproval process and needed to be removed. What is the best way to remove those comments? Thanks!
