If there is no balance transfer fee and your NFCU CC has a lower interest rate than your CC with a balance then by all means you should transfer the balance to save you money and keep paying as much as you can towards the balance so it is paid off faster and saves you money.

Did you just get this bike? Lots of credit unions pull from EQ. Better off to get a CC with a balance transfer offer than a personal loan anyways. The CC will still have usefulness and age after all this is taken care of.

So its just rice with peas, carrots, and cashews that you ate? Nothing else to with it?Yes. It's brilliantly simple. Of course you need good peas, carrots cashews, and rice, and you need to cook them just so to preserve their quality... a little fat and a light seasoning. I used some butter and sesame oil, a bit of salt on everything, and added some five spice to the boiled cashew nuts. Thanks mec. Carrots are easy to find but a little hard to cut. Peas are easy but you only get them fresh if you buy peas in pods. Do you use pods or just the peas?I make rice very frequently and have at least two bags of Basmati rice on hand. I cook rice with different vegetables but more frequently just plain. I think frozen peas could work well. What sparked my recollection of the dish though was seeing the refrigerated bags of shelled English Peas at Trader Joe's. They have a little more texture than the frozen peas I've had experience with. I also bought the cashews and carrots there. They had a bag of mixed colors carrots and I think their nut selection is fantastic and reasonably priced. The Tibetan Cashew Rice dish you speak of usually has raisins for added sweetness in my experiences...

I really wish AMEX would come out with a 4% anyhwere card. That would really show Chase and Citi who is the boss! -
Any other way to qualify for such a card? I dont have any military connection. Join the Air Force It's Friday here in Japan. https://youtu.be/C0X3CLJVMJU

If there were only such a thing as a parenting license. Or internet license, like to go on the internet. Theoretical licenses. I believe you do need a ham license yes; and I think part of earning it is demonstrating conversancy with Morse code. I also think a pilot's license is technically called a pilot certificate. (Mmmmmmmmmmmm, Certs®....) Morse code was eliminated as a requirement for all amateur radio licenses in 2007. So sorry Sam

A Kia Soul is not going to work for your daughter if you expect her to drive home routinely. Most Americans drive less than 40 miles/day, so BEV's work for most people. Even ones with pathetic ranges. A bigger question is if your daughter even needs a car to go off to college while she's living in a dorm? -
In many counties within Nevada, there is a Brothel License. Yes, I said it. There also exists a hunting license yes a hunting license. But don't take your hunting license to the Bunny Ranch

Chime is a debit card. So it does nothing to build credit, cannot be used for car rentals and might be problematic for hotel reservations/deposits.

That verbiage has worked it's way into most AMEX disclosures now. I am aware of that...but some of our fans of MS may not be aware of that point...and so I was hoping to reduce the number of 'waaah...they closed my account for gaming the system' threads that will inevitably show up in a few months. That's not how it works with AMEX, at least for now. The new policy is you apply for the card, a screen will pop up saying No Bonus For You, and then ask you if you want to continue with the application submission. AMEX just takes your points, or doesn't give you bonus points on the spend if it's places known for MS activity. They generally don't shut you down. They still want your business. IMO, much better than the 5/24 rule if a card product is really useful for you. -
The OPs vagueness is the problem here. At first I thought they needed a CC to: 1. Not use a debit card for transactions (smart move) 2. Possibly for car rentals or hotel rentals which don't like debit cards or prepaid cards 3. Build credit history Subsequent posts make this not so clear though

Two bagels is the largest meal of the day. And they are the breakfast "base"...although base generally serves to imply there's more involved? Perhaps followed with copious amounts of Monster Energy drinks and a little coprophagia to keep things interesting?

You don't want to apply for anything while you are trying to get a mortgage. The problem is you have bad timing. You should have been building new accounts and such gradually over time. So that the INQ's and new account stings wore off. Did you have a mortgage on your house that you sold that is also now reporting paid off?

If there is nothing negative on your reports, then what did Citi see that is bad except for their own maxed out card? OpenSky doesn't require a credit check. And since it's secured I guess it can't get you any deeper than you already are...except for the interest payments of course.

Ignore it. But remember the judgement can be renewed for near eternity if the holder so desires.
