  1. My sister is self employed and in need of a car in the next 6 months. She has good credit in the 750 and up range with no lates or collections, public records etc. What kinds of things will they require she provides to get approved? She is looking for a vehicle at the 15k or under price range. I don't know her monthly income but I do know some clients pay cash while the majority pay by check. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Update: I was approved. I was able to secure a 16.5k car with 3k down. A 6 year loan at 5.1% I am just overjoyed at this. My old was car was leaking gas and was a 2 door which didn't work too well for my son. The whole process was painless. All I had to do was provide my license, proof of insurance and fill out an application. In about an hour I was approved The funny thing was I had gone to 2 other dealerships and they told me I need paystubs, bank statements and a utility bill. I was in and out of the dealership with my new car in about 90 minutes. The dealer ended up pulling
  3. The used car market is very agressive here and cars are moving very fast. I have a few cars I like at a dealership but I have to go through all the approval process etc. If in deed I get approved and they don't have any cars I want to buy will another hard pull or inquiry at another dealer hurt my credit? It's very Likely I may have to go to a different dealer as this one dealer only has a few cars in my price range. However there is another dealer with many more cars in my price range. My scores aren't that great and I don't want to sink my score and ruin my chances of getting appr
  4. No they aren't requiring that I am just assuming the worst. I am getting my finances in order before I call that way I have all my ducks in a row. I have a car payment also so I have run the numbers and see what works for me. I am very budget conscious and I won't do anything unless I know it will work.
  5. Has anyone ever had to sue anyone for failing to pay on their loan that you cosigned on? I am in the process of getting my credit and debts all settled after being destroyed by a foreclosure and a cosigned student loan in default. The loan is a private student loan through sallie mae. The loan amount was 9k in 2009 but because of no payments being made since then it has ballooned to 15k. I am not in a position financially to pay this thing off in one lump sum I just don't have that kind of cash. But it just sucks that I have to pay for her loan. She is either really stupid or bee
  6. The loan was originally for 9k but with interest and all the fees the amount is closer to 15k. I don't mind a payment plan but I can't swing 1000 a month that just isn't reasonable. The payments would have to be stretched out with me paying extra as I go along. I can probably only afford 100 dollars a month. However I have some money I can give them right away. After the loan is paid off I will be suing the loan originator and getting her wages garnished. It's always excuses on why she couldn't pay or saying that she did pay just last month. I did my own research by signing up for an
  7. I looked them up on the BBB. It appears they also take care of any complaints. They go by pinnacle solutions.
  8. The name of the debt collector is integrity solution services.
  9. Thanks. I was really nervous about calling because I didn't know what would happen. I will do my best to try and get this resolved.
  10. Cool. I can put Down more money if needed.
  11. I had a house that went into foreclosure in 2007. It falls off my credit report next month. There were 2 mortgages on the house if that makes a difference.

  13. I guess it won't be huge but around 1500 plus I will get 1500 for my 2nd vehicle once I sell it. I already have multiple people interested in it. I have about 8k in savings at the moment and currently I put away 900 a month. I want to pay this off but not bankrupt me with nothing in savings. I am also in the process of getting a 2nd job part time. This is my first time ever dealing with a collection agency. I will never cosign for anyone ever again. Is it realistic to assume they will allow me to make monthly payments and pay down the principle as I get more money? My job h
  14. I would write down all the expenses for the month. Gas, food, etc. See what gets spent and Where The Money Goes. From there you can start eliminating things such as a 2 dollar pop 5 times a week. That's 10 dollars a week just on pop! Where there is a will there is a way. Try it for a month and see how it goes. Stress to him that this money has to last. Keep us updated
