  1. Update: I went with dealer financing and got the 1.99 rate! I am hoping to pick up the car later this week and I am very excited. Although I have not posted on Creditboards much, I have followed the forums and learned a tremendous amount! A year ago I had a FICO scores of 485/480/484. For the first time in my life I am purchasing a car because I want it, not because I need it! Well I do need a car, but I hope you know what I am saying. I will take time over the next year and learn how to properly reply to posts
  2. Hello and thank you for taking the time to respond. My apologies as I am not sure how to respond to folks individually.-I think I have it figured out! I am looking at a CPO 2015 GLK 350 at a Mercedes dealer. I don't know if I was approved, at 9:30 last night I started getting notifications that my credit was pulled. Mercedes pulled 3xs and 1 pull by Ally. I will update as things progress--hopefully in a positive direction!

  4. Hi All, I am car shopping. I went into the dealer with pre approval for an auto loan from my credit union, but wanted to see if I could qualify for special rates advertised by the dealer so I filled out an application and submitted it to their finance department. Tonight I notice 3 seperate pulls from the dealer and one from Ally. I did not apply through Ally. Would the dealer apply to Ally on my behalf? I did a quick search on Ally and I am not sure they are a company I would want to do business with. I notice they have several negative reviews online. Thanks--Ineedavice!
  5. Thank you Marv, your response makes me more confident....now off to the credit union

  9. I am getting ready to apply for my first mortgage. I am looking at a small condo for 69,900 and its offered under Fanniemae Homepath. My Realtor gave me the name a several lenders who offer the Homepath loan and they are lenders she has worked with before. My question is this: Do I contact more than one lender? Does it make sense to work with more than one lender at a time? Will each lender pull my credit? I would prefer not to have my credit pulled numerous times. Thanks for taking the time to reading!
