  1. Request MOV (method of verification) from Equifax. Couple questions: Do you have actual paper copies of your reports? Did you dispute online or via written request? What was the reason you chose for your dispute? Does this collection state your Social Security number in the notices? They may be furnishing an incorrect SS# to the CRA's. Is the OC reporting also? You should be disputing by mail only. How do you know the OC has an incorrect SS#? The OC is not reporting, the original creditor always had the wrong ssn even when the account was active. Even
  2. Thanks! It has not been 30 days since my last dispute so I will wait. The item is only being report by the CA.
  3. How, exactly, are you SURE the OC had the wrong SS#? The OC entered the incorrect SSN when the account was active. I asked them numerous times to change the info but it was never updated. When the account was sold to the initial CA the collection letter had the incorrect SSN issued from the OC. The CA then sold the account to the current CA.

  5. Yes I have paper copies of my report. I disputed the collection by telephone using "no knowledge of account does not belong to me. The collection does not state the Ssn# but the original creditor had the incorrect ssn as well. Request MOV (method of verification) from Equifax. 6. Well it is an old account of mines that I totally forgot about. I know for sure that the original creditor had the wrong Ssn# so that's how I knew the CA had incorrect information as well. They may have verified an old address.
  7. I just recently had a collections account show up on my credit report.(All three) I was able to have the collection deleted from Transunion and Experian with no problem because the Social Security number on the account does not match mines. But when I dispute with Equifax it was returned as VERIFIED. What is the best step to take to have this removed pronto!! I've worked hard to clear my credit over the last three years and this is the only negative item on my report. PLEASE HELP!! Thanks in advance!

  10. So I currently have a charge-off account from First Premier form 2 years ago. I recently spoke with someone in the EO and was informed that my account is being managed by a third party collection agency "Integrity Solutions". I was told that any payments and settlement arrangements have to be done through them. Should i pay through the orignal creditor anyway, or will i have more favorable results paying the CA? FYI, only the OC is reporting not the CA.
  11. Has anyone had an encounters with integrity solution services? Were you able to create an agreement that was favorable for you?
  12. The link I posted is yours, I recalled you having success. Yes sir. I looked. There are a few more threads were I posted as well. I dispise First Premier so I try to help when I can. I am taking a look now, thanks! I can use all the help I can get.
  13. Thanks! Sadly this account is a charge-off. If it's paid/$0 balance, you could try a GW. If there were circumstances leading to the event, you could use that in your letter. Just don't send it in to customer service though. You'll want to research e-mail addresses of the EO folks. I've been unsuccessful with the goodwill method as well. FP is tough! Smh
  14. Sadly this account is a charge-off.
