  1. Nice new title minnie! You made me look... but I was hoping to see a title with the word "flowerpot" in it. Life is just full of disappointments. BAHAHAHA!!! Just had to pull over and laugh at that one.
  2. Stop everything......you don't like living in LV? A virtual 24/7 playground. What's not to like? Don't you guys have the misters everywhere? Plus you have Pawn Stars! Who wouldn't want to hang with Chumlee?
  3. We both lawyered up in 2012. Usually when I break contact over something like this, my boy suffers from it. No one wins. I'm not saying get nasty. She's obviously not doing what she said she would do and using an attorney, and you are relying on plans made with her directly. Either bring up the subject or get an attorney to do it for you. Could I sue for damages?

  5. Without going into the mind numbing details of a Simpson-esque divorce, I wanted to solicit some input from this board. First of all, it's highly demoralizing to even post this, but I am literally at my wits end with this person. Anyone that's been in a failed 20+ year marriage, feel free to weigh in. My plight is this: My estranged wife decided to follow me to my current location in exchange for my child and I to spend more time together. I had filed for divorce over three years ago in California. She was getting temporary custody and child support (80/20). Her idea was to buy separate homes in the same neighborhood, custody would be 50/50, and all support would be dropped as I agreed to keep my child anytime she left town for her business. Sounded good. She even used the same lender as I was. At first she not approved. I wrote the lender and pointed out several laws and others facts that I have learned from this site in regards to real estate and credit repair. They bought off on it and she closed. Meanwhile, she has not dropped the support and has continued to keep the MSA in the hands of her attorney long enough to postpone my closing three times. No big deal. I'll just rent an apartment. Well, the two apartments I was considering are full to capacity. So, now I've moved out of the hotel I was staying in for a transient location. A single room closely resembling a friar's residence. Am I wrong for hating this person? Due to her passiveness, I've lost a home and an apartment. Worst of all, I've lost the ability to provide adequate housing for my child. He can't even spend the night with me. So, now what?
  6. Yes. Even for the Italian stuff. It's been a few years since I bought granite. Just my opinion. Have you looked at the places on Miramar Road? This was just Lowe's in Mission Valley. This wasn't just the countertop... vanity too. But still. I stayed away from Miramar since the air show was today. Damn. Lowe's is getting pricey. I bet I've ran into you at MV Costco before and didn't even know it. I used to live over at Circa 37. Ok. Back to bathrooms. You probably already know the bathroom design stores in La Jolla, downtown, and Hillcrest area are hit or miss. I can't think of anywhere else other than Miramar. Guess you gotta wait until after the air show. Restoration Hardware at UTC? The work will be done on our Mudland house, so I thought I'd stsrt the research in a national store, to at least establish a direction. If this was our "forever house" I wouldn't care about the cost. Our ownership window on this home is three years, so I'm just trying to minimize the gag factor on the master bath for resale purposes. Solid house otherwise... "FOREVER HOUSE" LOL. I'm gonna use that. For us, it's probably in Del Mar somewhere. I'd buy it today if we could rent it out for three years, and then gut it and remodel before moving in. Del Mar any day of the week. Agreed. I've been looking up in San Fran lately if I retire soon.

  10. I use it as a show and tell to remind my boy why he needs to stay in school. Aren't you tired of paying for parking down town? Or you just don't go? Those aren't the only two options. This is true.

  12. I am in the DFW area, and the whole idea scares the crap out of me... You're in Dallas and afraid of EBOLA? Go hide in the Dallas Cowboy Stadium. Nobody ever catches anything there.
  13. Are you sure about the diagnosis? Symptoms sounds more like " divorce " Yes! You're right. Typical California divorce started in 2011. Still going. When will the Kardashian Episode end?
