  1. Navy Federal Credit Union began accepting applications for new student loans on 4/18/2015 and is offering to refinance existing student loans. It is the first time the institution, which has more than $64 billion in assets and more than 5.5 million members, has ventured into the private student-loan arena..https://www.navyfederal.org/products-services/loans/student-loans/index.php?intcmp=hp|cont|2|other|promo|studentloans|04/27/2015|||

  2. I would absolutely recommend Lowe's over Home Depot for the house stuff. Better starting limits, better and faster increases, just a better option.

Lowes's also offers a Everyday 10% Military Discount as does Home Depot but with a $500.00 Maximum Discount

  4. They have compiled statistics on reward-seat availability for the 25 most popular U.S. award routes on the five biggest airlines. They show you the chances of getting a “free” ride and will also help you make a decision about which rewards program to join. We’ve also calculated the value of a reward seat for each airline and trip so that you can tell which ones are—or aren’t—offering you a good deal....http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/magazine/2015/06/ultimate-frequent-flyer-guide/index.htm

  5. The mini ink screen is powered by a lithium-ion battery (like a phone) the size of a postage stamp that's designed to last three years. A computer chip randomizes the number every 40 or 60 minutes.

Engineers have managed to squeeze it all into a regular, 0.76 millimeter-thick card.

The changing code renders the card useless to anyone who has written down your credit card number, expiration date and the code on the back...http://money.cnn.com/2015/03/26/technology/security/credit-card-dynamic-cvv/

  6. Email From USAir 3/28/2015 On March 28, we'll begin moving Dividend Miles® members into the AAdvantage® program. This transition to a single loyalty program will take several days.

We'll transfer your Dividend Miles award mileage balance, Preferred-qualifying activity and million mile balance into a new AAdvantage account on a one-to-one ratio, as well as your Preferred status. Once we're finished, we'll send you an email with your new account number. Until then, you can continue to use your Dividend Miles account number.

Credit Sesame is definitely providing reporting and scoring information from TU now. I'm in the middle of cleaning up my credit and my EX and TU reports look VERY different. When I looked today it re-pulled my report (early) only now it is just showing my TU report. Everything EX related is gone.

Does it give you a fresh TU report each day as well as their FAKO score? If yes then it works just like SC and TUP. Wonder if it also chops softs at 3 days like those two?

Sorry, but what does SC and TUP stand for? I couldn't find these acronyms.

SC = SmartCredit TUP= TransUnion Plus

  8. Plenti, as the venture is known, already has enlisted companies that include AT&T Inc., Exxon Mobil Corp., Macy's Inc., Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. and Rite Aid Corp., AmEx said Wednesday.

The program, to launch this spring, is expected to include more brands in additional categories. Participants would earn at least one point for every dollar they spend.

US Loyalty, an AmEx division, will manage the program, which is free to consumers. AmEx said it would issue a Plenti credit card, but shoppers also would be allowed to pay with cash, debit cards or other credit cards, including those from rival card companies......http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-amex-customer-loyalty-20150318-story.html
