  1. The finance Mgr at the dealership. I'm going to pay the $419 a month and refinance the 8% apr after a year. I'll hold on to the grand
  2. Thanks to everyone that chimed in. This is a copy and paste of the email that he sent me: Good Morning $1000 divided by 12 months = $83.33 so if your payment is $419 – $83.33 = $335 $1000+419 should be your first payment and 11 payments of $335 Don’t forget that the 2nd payment statement will show $0.00 you should always send the corresponding amount of $335+ One last thing your first payment make sure you pay it with a check and specify FUTURE PAYMNENT otherwise they will apply the full amount to principal and your next p
  3. I recently purchased a 2020 Camry financed through SE Toyota. The finance Mgr said I can mail a check for my monthly payment plus $1000 but make sure I write "future payment" on the check and I can make smaller payments for the first year then refinance, is this true? Example (1000÷12=83.33) my payment of $419-83.33= $335.67 for the first year. Can I do this or was the finance guy talking nonsense?
  4. Yes local CU I have a chk and sav account with. On the phone they did mention I'm not two years past my ch 7 but didn't specify that being why I got denied.
  5. I haven't attempted to ask ollo for a cli because they bumped me from $500 to $2000 after 6 months. I've been paying them down by %10 each month so it's only been 1 month at the current utilization. I've tried online with cap 1 and been denied one card says too early for increase and the other says score too low but the letter shows my score was pulled from may. Is there a number I can call so they can pull my current score?
  6. I'm a bit frustrated with my spacecoast credit union secured card. The website states you can apply for an unsecured card after one year of good use well it's been a year and 4 months of good use and I still got denied. I'm not really sure what to do next to improve my scores and get higher limits. 7. This^^^ is what I would do. Others may do it differently. Do you have any derogs of any kind, or high utilization only? DO NOT ADD ANY NEW CHARGES TO YOUR CCs. I have no derogs, I definitely won't be using any credit. I definitely wasn't thinking about spreading the money across each card that's an interesting strategy thanks 90% utilization on a single card is considered maxed out. You should tweak the amounts on the Amex, WF, & Barclay to report at 89% max., to start with. After these 3 are paid down further you may be able to qualify for a 0% BT offer of some kind. Di

We're both employed now but things are still a bit tight we're making min payments but the balances are going nowhere and the min payments are sky high. Through the help of family members we have about $8k to put towards the balances I just don't know which card or cards to use the money on any advice? Thanks Amex:$13,195 balance/$13,500 limit/22.24% apr WF:$7,500 balance/$7,500 limit/19.99% apr Disco:$4,367 balance/$4,500 limit/23.74% apr Walmart:$5,913 bal
