  1. I didn't want to contact them, as I was afraid to contact them because I'm unsure of what to say and what not to say.
  2. I did, and I tried to work with them. They wanted ridiculous terms of which I really can't afford. For instance, they were willing to make payments $150/month for 6 months and then it would be almost 1k per month. I can't do that.
  3. It was a private loan. All of my federally backed loans are in good standing. It's just these loans and the ridiculous terms.
  4. Greetings All, I last wrote about my student loan dilemma with NCT about two years ago. Well you said it, and it's now happened I'm being sued. My credit report shows as paid after charge off. They sold the debt to NCO financial. What should I do? Court is a little over a month. Is there a way not to get a judgment and just enter a payment plan? They legally have been paid so how can they still sue me? If anything I should owe the money to NCO right? Oh and I forgot to mention, no court notice has been sent to me. In fact, I received a letter from a lawyer asking to respresent me. I went

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks, Carla
  6. How is the process going? I did my initial intake in July 2013. Of course my counselor didn't do his job. My file has been transferred to an out of state office. So far this guy is on his job.
  7. I don't think so. I had a JCP card years ago that I became delinquent with and eventually settled in full around 2008. Same thing with an Old Navy card that I PIF after it was really deliquent. I just was able to open up new accts with both of them this month. You should be ok. I agree talk to an UW.
  8. Congrats@ There is hope for me yet
  9. Just used it today, with no success, but nonetheless here it is 1-866-412-5956 (credit analyst). Good Luck!
  10. Cap1 frequently gives the 7-10 msg. when they want additional info, like income verification. Cap1 finally approved me with $500 limit. Limit sucks unable to find a # to get a cli but will keep trying. I at least want 1k
  11. I'd definitely call. If I've learned anything on here its use the backdoor to get in and make things happen
  12. Good Morning All, I applied for the Barclays Reward card and was denied because I have credit that was opened too recently. They told me that my TU Fico score was 653, but I pulled it via myfico two days prior and it was 601. Someone else said that Barclays may be using a different scoring model. I just really want to know which is more reliable for me to use because I don't want to over or underestimate my score. Thanks in advance. Sidebar: I'll be bugging you guys all day because im stuck at jury duty Haha!
