  1. Well she doesn't have a credit card because she just uses her debit card. She's done the whole Dave R thing and think all credit cards are a bad product. I explained to her that my Citi DC card made me about $900 last year. Didn't make me rich but it's money I'm spending anyway. She's debt free besides mortgage. Wanted to show her how much easier it is to get a rental car and hotel with a credit card. Now the rental company or hotel holds the credit cards money and not hers. 2. I'd like to add my sister to my Capitol One QS card as a AU that I never use. My thinking is this way I can start getting the 1.5% cash back and she has a credit card to use. She's very responsible but wanted to know the positives and negatives. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk

    NFCU Help

Hi All, Just applied for the NFCU Amex card and was only approved for $3000. Is there a backdoor number or recon number I can call to get this limit raised. Other credit card limits on my CR range from $6,500 to $19,600. Please send me a number I can call. I called the regular 800 number and they were no help.

  7. Looking for a limit of about 12K or more. Think that's possible? Depends on income and overall report, obviously. But, of the primary BT cards I'd say BofA is the best chance for that. Personally, I'd determine a back-up card/plan and then app for the BankAmericard requesting the full $12K BT in the initial app. Assuming they approve, they know what you're looking for and if they can't go that high they'll let you know right away so you can turn to Plan B. So we went ahead and applied for the Bankamericard. My wife was able to put in her BT info during the application process.
  8. So we went ahead and applied for the Bankamericard. My wife was able to put in her BT info during the application process. Once completed, it said application pending. Should I just wait or should I try to contact recon now? If I should contact recon, what's the number? Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
  9. Yep, it's NFCU Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk I'd have to check to make sure but a good guess is probably around 35%. She has about 9-10 credit card but only one has a balance. What are her other CC's and CL's? Overall util is 35%? What's the util on the single card with the balance? Don't know about the other CC's and CL's off hand. The one card with the balance has 12K and CL is 16K. I can't help you without this info. Maybe you can get it tomorrow. I'll get it for you tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk

  14. Hi All, I'm looking for a credit card for my wife that will start her off at a high limit, has 0% balance transfer for at least a year, and preferably no balance transfer fees. Any suggestions? She has pretty good credit with scores from 700-730. Her highest credit limit is 16K right not with NFCU. Please help.
  15. I'm not doing it. She never actually asked, but we talked about it.
