  1. Says a $4,300 cut. I would be ok with that Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  2. I haven't gotten one in a while either. Coming up on 180 days in a week. I am hoping that is the magic number. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  3. I have a total of 11 cards but only carry 3. 2 definitely are my Amex EDP and my Amex Platinum. My 3rd card usually rotates between noon amex cards. Currently it is a Citi AA card while I am trying to hit my retention bonus. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  4. My friend is going through something similiar with a 25k loan. No bank would even touch a mortgage loan that low. He ended up having to do a personal loan to get the deal done. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  5. Interesting as in I have this card already. Choices. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  6. The outlying areas keep those teams alive... Notice the stadiums are in Pontiac, and Auburn hills...a good drive from the cityUm.... yeah no.Um yeah, they areThe Lions play downtown at Ford field. The Tigers play downtown at Comerica Park The Pistons and Red Wings play downtown at Little Cesar's Arena All the stadiums are with a couple blocks of each other. I was in Detroit earlier this year. I liked it. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  7. Lately I have been listening to older episodes of Handel on the Law at work. Interesting and a bit funny. Not sure why anyone would call into his show though! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  8. I find it hard to believe there is no score. Just because she doesn't have any open loans doesn't mean she has no score. If she had any of those loans in the last 10 years she has a score. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  9. Depending on location there is still extremely good value to be had, especially if you are flexible on dates. I just flew my family of 4 from Atlanta to Anchorage on Details during peak season for 25,000 miles round trip per person. To buy the same ticket was close to $900 each. I flew to Chicago earlier this year for 10,000 miles round trip. That was a $250 ticket Now I don't expect to find these deals all the time, but they can be had. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  10. Yep. Civil Engineering is highly paid. It's one of the few engineering fields where getting a state license is close to mandatory. And it's also a hard license to get. Stable, and long term employment. Mechanical Engineering is pretty cool. Do you use SolidWorks? Had a colleague that did but I don't know how much that has changed in the last 10 years. I have used solidworks in college. But I do not use it in my job field. I design plumbing and HVAC systems for buildings so my main program is AutoCAD. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  11. I am a mechanical engineer and with my bonus I fall just shy of 6 figures. Maybe next year! My wife is a civil engineer and she is in the lower 6 figures. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  12. I have had good luck with zenni optical. Their sizing tools are decent, the glasses are decently priced and have been good quality. No complaints here. Ordered from them several times.
  13. I bought my first house for $350k 1.5 years ago. I did not put down 20%. I put down 5%. My credit union had a program with no PMI for 1st time home buyers so that is the route we went.
  14. Was never a fan of HHGregg Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks for the helpful advice guys. I am in Atlanta. Does anyone know of a bank here that keeps their loans in house? Would going through a knowledgeable mortgage broker be helpful? Recommendation? I have my home loan through Delta Community and they keep their loans in house.
