  1. I'm going to pay off my chase freedom today. It seem like chase does report mid cycle when you pay your credit card. The billing cycle on my cap1 is the 20th. They're good at reporting a few days after the billing cycle. Thats about $4k of cc bill pay. This will drop my util. down and I should see an increase. That's the plan at least. 2. Agree. I'm now paying more attention to rewards. I just got the venture 2x miles reward card. I want to pay my $5k total monthly bill on this card and earn something for paying all these danm bills.
  3. Explain that one? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk It's an old topic from years ago, I think it was deleted. The board spent weeks laughing at it. To make a long story short, I was dating a beautiful young woman and one night she offered to pay for dinner. I smiled and said sure and then she pulled out an "old orchard" credit card. My jaw dropped. And it was at the time when cards were color coded which indicated their annual fee and potential credit limits, so I had a pretty good idea of what was going on with her credit. Needless to say that relationship didn't last due to some of her financial decisions. Wait....I found it..... https://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=438300&page=1 I really need to start a new topic on this situation. LOL A true CB classic - we all feel the pain of seeing your date offer to pay for dinner with a subprime card! So good to see BW posting and having fun. Thanks for sharing this one. This is classic!!
  4. just decided on the goal. i was debating it. I need to get rid of my current car. so i need a car loan. i need a quick credit boost in the next few days to get a good rate.
  5. Good list. But I'm scared of retail cards. If its not a top tier card, I'm very hesitant. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk

  8. The OP asked a question, not for your opinion. This is true, but he also said he doesn't want to pay any fees of any kind... so MO's/GC's aren't going to fit his plan... balances are relatively low ($4k). Wants eternal grace period... I wish I could figure out a way to do that. Eternal grace period may the task/goal for 2016. Try spending your time increasing your income so you have no debt to juggle. That would be a batter goal.Income is not an issue in this topic. I'm grateful and feel very blessed for my current income. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
  9. I was doing research on this. I converted my Cap1 Signature to a venture card and I'd like to make at least $3k purchase on it monthly to accumulate miles. I can buy VGCs and get to that amount easily. then use the VGCs how I want. Any good websites for VGCs? I know of giftcardmall.com and you get a certain cashback from your purchases through topcashback.
  10. That's a lot of drama for a simple question. It's just a question. [emoji15] [emoji15] Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk

  12. I have venture and quicksilver with them . Im going to pay off the venture. I still want my miles. Are you saying that I can transfer my quicksilver balance to the venture?I wonder if I'll accumulate points with the transferred balance. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
  13. I got it down to 4. It will be 2 by the end of this month. I'll just pay off 3 and work with just 2. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
  14. i want to pay a credit card with another credit card. What you're asking for is possible, but it's not recommended: https://www.nerdwallet.com/blog/credit-cards/can-i-use-credit-card-to-pay-another-credit-card/ I read that. But I dont want to pay those fees. This article is for in case of an emergency and that's your only option. Although it's good to know, this isn't an emergency. It's more for me to know if there are ways to do it without having to pay high fees. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
