Per my talking with Amex as of now there is no 30 day late even my payment due by was 12/08/14 So my question is will a payment plan kill my credit for next 7 years like a regular late payment on credit cards?

Thank you all for the quick answers Let me try to clarify My original due date payment was on 12/08/14, I did not pay it by that date, so the start asking me if I want a payment plan, I have some difficulty to pay it as of now, I want to know if this are going to be reported on my credit reports as Late?
