The appropriate way to get a response to your thread is to bump it to the top, not to start a new thread with an insulting title that will just result in an angry pile on. There are lots of folks posting all the time and sometimes questions get unintentionally ignored.

Sorry it didn't work out with Chase but getting into NFCU and a needed vehicle is well worth it. Chase will be there later on.

I was approved for the PRG with the 50K bonus /1K spend last night. I then tried for the Hilton Honors with the 60K bonus right aftter but the link wouldn't let me enter my salary. Tried a couple of times then gave up and went for the BCE instead. Wanted to give it another shot but I'm sure there will be other offers down the road. Mostly just glad I'm back in with Amex.

And congrats on that Wells Fargo visa - nice! I will try not to stay gone for so long. But it does keep me out of trouble.

I was just approved for 2 last night (with 1 inquiry - yay!). How long before I can go for a 3rd without spooking Amex? Old threads say 30 days - is this still the case?

NO i haven' i think all u can get in one day is A revovler and a charge card we did that tonight i will be stoked if that AARP gets approved. I don't want to get greedy, I will wait. I think its still 61 days to wait for a CLI. I will have to research that to see if anything has changed. Keep us posted on that AARP. Nice bonus on that thing!

Mariposa - my EX is 689 right now. I got a 5K limit on the BCE. Not bad, all things considered.

I will hit 5 years past BK discharge in 03/2016. I decided to test the waters with Amex and see if they would let me in a little early - APPROVED!!!!! Did the 2fer - PRG and a BCE on the same day for one inquiry. Joy!!! The white whale is officially caught! FYI - I did not IIB Amex. I did have a charge off with them back in 1990. I wish D* was still around - my membership date is 1988.

+1 Inqs don't matter on the co-branded cards if everything else looks good. Where I live Chase normally double-pulls EQ and EX for every app. They will approve though solely on EQ if EX is frozen.....what I do for me and DW. I just got the AARP card (6th Chase card in 2015) with 28 inqs on EQ. It was an instant approval online. Take a shot and pull the trigger. Hey Nate - Happy New Year! I will have to check out this AARP card as well.

Do you folks that have offers from Penfed use them as your primary bank? I've been with them since last year with less then perfect reports for sure. No offers yet - not that I really expect any.

As I understand it they are not so anal on the inquiries with co-branded products. Check and see if there is a sign up bonus on that Hyatt. Get the liquid courage going and report back.
