Bankruptcy filed May 2014, not 2015 Approved for another Venture card. $5,000 limit. Will try again next month. Denied for another Venture card. Went from a $30,000 approval in June, to $5,000 approval in July, to a denial in August. They've already been pretty generous and shown you their exposure at this time. I wouldn't complain about it at all. This.^ I've got a BK discharged in 2011. I would be thrilled to have a $30K line with Cap One. Treat your cards well and I'm sure Cap One will reward you with CLI's after you've proved yourself.

Big congrats! How far past the 5 year BK discharge date are you? I received my BK 7 discharge on 7/2/10. So almost a month past the five year mark? Nice! I hit the 5 year next March. I was wondering how soon after to app. Congrats again!

I feel ya, Mendelssohn. Realize that some folks aren't going to understand or believe what we already know to be proven from BW. No point worrying about that. I just logged into my Nordstrom account and saw I got an auto CLI to $4500. Was going to call June 1st at the 4th cut but got sidetracked. Should I try to call to get a larger increase or wait? Would love to get a Siggy.
