  1. Does report to d and b or any of the business reports?
  2. After posting this thread yesterday https://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=551352&hl=today, my cash reward cc went from $1000 to $21000!!! I am so grateful to CBers. Thank you!
  3. I did apply online for the max allowed ($50,000 hoping for at least $20,000) and was approved for $8500(thinking soft pull). Then I was asked if I accept this amount or to be reviewed for the $50,000? I opt for the review, which can take 3-5 days. Now it's a waiting game in which they probably do a hard pull. My EX and EQ are frozen. I want them to pull TU which is now up to FICO 732 has 2 inqs and four 4yr old/90 day late student loans. Well I suppose if I don't get what I'd like, $1000>$8500 is not so bad. I've had the NFCU cash rewards for 2yrs now and this will be my first increase eit
  4. Hello all, I want to ask for my first CLI with NFCU but, I'm not sure if asking on their website is better vs the phone as far as coming close to the amount I want to get. Anyone ever experimented? Does it even matter? Just wanted to hear from you guys before trying. TIA
  5. I would love super high credit limits. My question is how many prime cards do I need to achieve say $500,000?
  6. Good to know. I've had my cards for over two years and I just got my first credit increase on both and they're still under $1000. My goal is $10000+
  7. Utilization padding. Exactly. I figure if I shop there why not get the highest limits I can get.
  8. Would love to here the fico score it took to get them that high, and the initial limit you started with, and how long it took to get the $10,000+ limits. I have both cards and both are currently below $600. Please share the process it took to get those high limits. Do use the card(s) a lot? Thanks for your time.
  9. Wonderful!!! We too are house hunting. Very inspiring!
  10. I was at work so I wasn't able to tell the full conversation hubby had with cra. Rep basically said that the DOFD is March 2009 but the payment status is showing "current and paid as agreed" because of the settlement, the DOLA is showing 6/2012. The rep also says because it's showing current it will stay on report for 10yrs. Hubby said how could it show "paid as agreed" if the Charge off date was January 2009. The rep says hubby can dispute the "paid as agreed status" and change it to "charge off" status because that seems to be the problem. The account was settled 3yrs after it was charged of
