Ideally, we want to work around having to PG, but will it hurt the business from establishing credit if we do go that route? Will it help establish credit faster? I've been in business as a sole proprietor for 6 years and just decided to file for an LLC today. In my business I'm not concerned with being sued (though you never know) and I pay my bills in full every month, so not worried about creditors. So the only issue I would have left is whether applying for a revolving account that requires a PG will keep the business from establishing the credit (instead giving me the credit for the payoff). I have another question, I have plans in the the future of setting up a different business under the LLC. When you apply for these credit cards or trade lines, do you do it under the business license name or the LLC? Thanks.
