  1. I wasn't so keen on reading pages of bantering on iPhones and people's hairy ears and ungroomed eyebrows. Shame on me for assuming it's easy to find someone here who is helpful and not a douche. I now have 43 softs since the last system freakout about 1.5 months ago. I also have 17 hard inq, something must be not working.
  2. Has anyone gotten more inq b'ed off since smart cred. wiped all soft pulls a bit over a month ago?
  3. Me too, I was just two weeks away from getting rid of all HI. This morning I got 6 back, total 15. Is the general consensus just keep pulling? Anyone calling TU?
  4. I am someone who spends quite a bit of time abroad, and there have been times, at sketchy places in Asia, I had my wallet or credit card information stolen. My cards were used to make fraudulent transactions. I know that how many times you lose your wallet is not in your credit score, but if I am calling for reconsideration on some credit card in the future, do you think credit analysts can pull my credit report and be able to see fraudulent charges in the past and therefore deny my credit application because the bank does not want to be liable for fraudulent charges should I lose my card? Are the banks liable for these charges or are the merchants? Is this information kept/collected by the CBs?
  5. Okay, understood, thank you all for your help! I'm off to b'ing.
  6. The bantering here is on an intelligence level way above mine. So TU B* is a one time deal? I should save it before my biggest mortgage?
  7. I have now. The title scared me for a second. So for SCP I just pull everyday for 56 days, anytime after midnight pacific time, and then return 6 months later, rinse, and repeat?
  8. Shame on me for not Googling first... Just signed up for the $9.95 SCP service. Will report back in 55 days!
  9. Okay, I will use SCP and SCP alone for TU. Is this daily pull once a calendar day, or once 24 hours since last pull? And on the SCP website, I see the premium for $24.95, but not $9.95? If it's $24.95, why don't I just do USAA's daily pull? I don't see a $24.95 version on the website... Anyway, I will cancel it since I don't care for EQ b*.
  10. I'm not worried about EQ as I only have 3 HI. TU on the other hand, I would like to clean up. What is CS and TUP? I'm currently using USAA CCMP ($12.95), it says it provides monthly score/report but daily monitoring... does that mean daily pull?
  11. Sorry can someone explain this to me please, I have read the post on page 499 and have the bump tracker excel, but I can't seem to make out what that means... Right now I have 20/3/12 HI on my EX/EQ/TU, and I have CCMD ($12.95/month one). Do I just pull daily forever, so new HI will all be bumped off after 80-85 days for EQ and 56 for TU? Or do I pull for 3 months, stop, and repeat again in a year or two when I need to?
  12. Sorry can someone explain this to me please, I can't seem to make out what the excel sheet is doing...
  13. Thank you mizliz. So just using USAA premium service I can pull daily (is it calendar or, or ever 24 hours?) and then just keep it up and wait until inqs drop off? And no I have not been C* if the question was directed at me.
  14. Why do you freeze EX? Can you still apply for credit cards or loans if it is frozen?
  15. Hi friends, I am back after a hiatus and have a few questions on b* - is EliminateIDTheft the only service that allows daily pulls? I remember USAA used to allow it but their website only shows monthly pulls now. Would EID daily pulls suffice or would I need an additional service?
