  1. It's ok, im getting that way myself. as to your question i sent them reciept of payment.... i didn't think i could use the Ca letter so, i sent the OC letter,. after re-reading i think i screwed up, although TU did remove the TL. However, the CA is still sending me letters (per Post) about the debt and i'm unsure as to how to proceed . That was what my other question was going to be. Hope this helps explain.... Thanks for all you do.
  2. You opted out FIRST? http://www.whychat.5...OPTOUTINST.HTML You deleted old addresses BEFORE disputing?? yes, i did You sent the initial dispute letter to all the CRAs listing ALL the medical accounts as they are reporting? yes i did http://www.whychat.5.../hipaadisp.html How could you have the wrong address for the CRA?? Are you using REAL reports? i sent to the address listed on the credit report, it came back return to sender bad address Did you send it certified only without a return receipt as per the directions?? Was the address on that credit report for the CRA or for the reporting CA?? To order, visit annualcreditreport.com,or call 1-877-322-8228 Why would you be sending ANYTHING to the OC?? and what did you send?? a reciept of my payment ??? A receipt of WHAT payment to WHOM?? -- You DO understand that "OC" means original creditor health care provider?? IF you sent the initial dispute letter to the CRAs ( Credit reporting Agencies) and IF you followed the instructions to opt out and delete old addresses BEFORE sending them the dispute, and IF you were able to accomplish all that in the time since your initial post 06/09, then you are a miracle worker. If, on the other hand, you are easily confused by instructions ( as per your signature) then please let us know exactly WHAT you did or didn't do with the instructions you received on 6/9 in this forum. It took me a while to respond for a couple of reasons: 1) I work very odd hours; travel times and such. 2) The tone that you have towards me seems hostile at worse, short in the least. Definitely insulting. And being tired- no exhausted, I didn't just want to react. We have seemed to have gotten off on the wrong foot. or in a more positive spin, just a case of not knowing one another. You don't know my life, nor i yours. That being said, I am still very new to all of this and (against my initial judgment), I try to participate on this forum. And like most; if not all on the board, trying to learn and make a better life for ourselves and our families. In response to your comment about my signature, I see no correlation to the subject matter at hand. So, I take no offense. Also, seeing that a quote from a fictional character bothers you.... I have removed it. I followed What you said, i opted out, I did that months before I found this site. I deleted old addresses, and sent the dispute to the CRAs. One came back. TU with deleted TLs. However, the letter I posted was received, the same day the i received the letter from TransUnion. Where I have been mistaken, was in the sending to Experian's P.O. box. I realized that AFTER re-reading. I read the information as an EITHER, OR concerning the OC. I'm not CONFUSED or by inference STUPID, just a case of reading, trying to comprehend and absorb on a tired brain.

  4. ok,This is another med bill which the CA had as two separate TL's for but totaled $151.90. i paid the debt at when being seen (i was required at time of service). I then sent the dispute letters to all the letters to the CRA about theTL being removed. I also sent the letter to the OC, but they have not responded as yet. One letter returned to me because of bad address, from Equifax, (i believe, I will correct if its not right) I used the address provided. Experian has not responded yet. TransUnion sent a letter today, stating the have removed the TLs ! However, the CA has sent two letters for the individual items ($100, and $51.90) stating: "Your account has been placed with our company for collection. Unless you notify this office within 30 days after receiving this notice that you dispute the validity of this debt or any potion thereof, this office will assume this debt is valid. If you notify this office in writing within 30 days from receiving this notice, that you dispute the validity of this debt or any potion thereof, this office will obtain verification of the debt or obtain a copy of a judgement and mail you a copy of such judgement or verification. If you request this office in writing within 30 days after receiving this notice, this office will provide you with the name and address of the original creditor, if different from the current creditor. The Balance due as of the date of this letter is stated above."
  5. The legal SOL for being sued on a medical account is 4 years in all States, EXCEPT for those in which it is 3 years. The obsolescence date for being "dropped" from credit reports is 7 years The fact that the reporting CA has acquired your account data (probably from a data miner) is NOT "proof" of a current relationaship with the OC. Opt out http://www.whychat.5...OPTOUTINST.HTML Get old addresses deleted from your reports if possible Send each CRA, (using a REAL credit report To order, visit annualcreditreport.com,or call 1-877-322-8228 ) this: http://www.whychat.5.../hipaadisp.html Come back to THIS POST with your additional questions, do NOT start another thread or try to use information from someone else's post. Every situation is different. Please keep ALL your questions in this ONE thread. Thank you for your response, and forgive my mistake, still learning . i'll keep you posted
  6. As with anything dealing with electricity, if you are not sure, find or ask a qualified electrician. That being said, looked on line and found this at Lowes Pass & Seymour/Legrand 15-Amp Surface-Mount Power Outlet http://www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?partNumber=314826-1571-4404WCC10&langId=-1&storeId=10151&productId=3128601&catalogId=10051&cmRelshp=rel&rel=nofollow&cId=PDIO1 In the apprenticeship to become an electrician, and reading this product description, it will serve your purpose. Also, it is UL listed, meaning it has been through rigorous testing. Just make sure the outlet you are using is not being over utilized by other items on the same circuit. hope this helps
  7. All great info... I did not know not to try to get them to delete old addys from the online dispute. so i should always dispute in writing? Also read on some other site not to try to get old addresses removed, or they will not remove if at present address under 2yrs ( in second yr now).
  8. Hello all, thank you for your time. Here is my situation and question I have a TL on my CR from a medical procedure nearly 6 years ago. I have just received a letter from MED-1 Solution, LLC. I have a few days left to respond. I called the OC, and was told that the ammount owed is 872.90. That they would only take the full amount owed. That if any payment arraignment would have to be taken up with the CA. However the CA's letter states: MED-1 Original Creditor: (FMH) Balance: $1215.29 If I am correct, the SOL in IN is 6 years, and on the date to be dropped is Dec, 2012. I'm not really sure as to how to handle this... This letter shows that they have some relationship, and the phone call sort of confirms it, although, she didn't mention the CA by name. I'm not in the position to pay it off at this moment. maybe in a month tops..... So...... What now?
  9. Thanks FoShizzlel, this is very informative on the one hand and disheartening on the other, seeing that 7 of the tl on my report is medical... i feel SOL! now what? any sugessstion on the best course of action?
