  1. Anyone use awardwallet? Feel that it is safe? Are there fees involved?
  2. Good point...I was logged in when I checked...
  3. You can go to the Chase web site and click on "all credit cards" then call the number on the Palladium card link. They will email you the application. You fill it out and fax it back. Easy. I was just on the Chase website and the Palladium is no longer (or at least at this time) not listed...maybe they finally pulled it...or are making a marketing change to it...
  4. Spouse got a CLI on delta card in early June and apped for BCE at same time. Delta CLI to 25k approved and BCE approved for 2k. Waited over 61 days and applied online for CLI to 6k on BCE...denied with reason being that they do not allow a CLI within 6 months of a CLI on any card. I thought every 61 days you should be ale to CLI?
  5. sweet! we usually stay at the Drake or Fairmont but want to try the Trump If you are going to Chicago I recommend a suite at the Waldorf...possibly the best room I have ever stayed in (inside US)...
  6. No problem and congrats on the card!!!!
  7. $2000 min spend vs $3000 min spend....Wow....yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
  8. At this point havent seen any changes...wondering if this is a non event...
  9. Link said 10am...but I don't think it mentioned a time zone...
  10. I have had really good experiences with Chase and not so good with Citi. That said...I have had a Chase bank account for 12+ years and a mortgage with them for 11+ and a Investment account for about 9 months (also have a JP Morgan mutual funds account that is seperate from the investment account). I think (just my opinion) that the banks are becoming very focused on relationships when it comes to lending...having a prior good relationship seems to be a huge plus.
  11. I mentioned this in another thread...USAA and AMEX list my "hard" stickies in the detail section but they are not counted on the summary page and do not seem to be counted on my FAKO scores.
  12. I bet it is just an additional points bonus for new applications or something. I wouldnt mind seeing some additional points bonuses for certain types of spending...
  13. New CSP changes/features on Monday? http://www.noobtraveler.com/
  14. BTW...just as an FYI. Quicken Loans uses Credstar and CoreLogic for Mortgage applications. CoreLogic must be stopped...surely what they are doing is a violation of FCRA!!! Here is some of the data sources they use to "enhance" your mortgage FICO: Our sources include: County and local courthouses State taxation & revenue departments U.S. bankruptcy court Federal Agencies (FBI, CIA, OFAC) Payday, rent-to-own and other lenders Owners and managers of multifamily properties U.S. Census Bureau Newspapers Direct from consumers Third-party providers We collect and process many types of consumer data including: Mortgage loan applications Property ownership histories Property rental applications and rental histories Multi-family resident screenings Auto loan applications Household demographics SSN and identity verifications Consumer credit information, histories Under-banked (nontraditional lender) credit histories Tenant/landlord court records Voluntary and involuntary liens Judgments Bankruptcy information Criminal records Sex-offender information
  15. From what I can tell, hard inquiries with two colons and a number (i.e. ::2729881014) are mortgage inquiries or other misc. STICKY inquiries. The only hard from your list that could be removed is ALLIANT CREDIT UNION 09/22/11. This won't be removed until the CREDITEXPERT softs for dates 08/25/11 & 07/29/11 are B*. Three more pulls for you and your only removable hard will be B*'d. See my post just above this one...I have several sticky hard inqs that do not have any numbers... <sigh> CREDSTAR ::02/23/12 CREDCO AUTOMOTIVE ::01/08/11 FUNDING SUITE ::03/30/12, 02/27/12 SETTLEMENTONE ::03/14/12 Wondering if there is more to these "hard stickies" than meets the eye. I have continued to pull daily and noticed today that AMEX and USAA both reported that I now have 1 hard on EQ (a Citi one which is the only hard other than those listed above). When I checked the INQ section of their websites they show the hards above. Wonder why they are not counting them? The EQ site says I have 6 hards...I wonder what a vendor pull (real FICO) would look like now? Possible that the colons are causing an issue with processing and they are not being counted?
  16. Two is better than one and CLs, outside of utils, don't impact FICO. In what circumstances do you prefer to use the CSP over the Pd and the reverse? Did they give you United Club lounge access with the Pd card? I'm kicking around getting it though right now I have the Chase Freedom but no other Chase cards. I have been using the CSP for normal everyday purchases (lunches, dinners, Starbucks...) and the Palladium for bigger purchases (bought some furniture for a home we are building, paid for a vacation, children's portraits with photographer...). The Pd is a great card but does draw some strange comments at times (Barnes and Noble cashier asked me what the limit was on it and if it has the purchasing power to buy a boat or a sportscar....with a ton of people in line around me...in some places it is better to not draw that kind of attention). That said it is nice to flash it at high end places and the concierge service is great...I know some will debate this but my experience has been far better with Pd concierge than with CSP and Amex Plat. They gave me the United Club as soon as I requested it and offered to reimburse me for any visits prior to my membership being activated. Remember that the Pd does not report...which is why I am exploring another card or a CLI on my CSP...
  17. Just curious...is it better, in general, to have 1 card with a 20K limit or 2 cards with 10K each? Trying to maximize FICO score. I currently have CSP with a 10K limit, a Palladium with a 20K limit (non reporting), a AMEX Plat, and a Citi Plat with 2K limit. Am also an AU on spouses AMEX Plat Delta with 25K limit. I am debating whether to up the limit on the CSP to 20K (they tell me it should not be an issue) or to open a new Chase card (thinking Fairmont or Ritz). Any opinions? BTW, I really like the CSP and use it daily...

  19. Well...I guess I can answer my own question today....the following are all hard stickies...yuck!!!!!! I bumped off three softs that were dated in July 2012 this morning....and these are all still there... 21. Ctb....btw....thx for the counter....somehow using the counter once a week or so makes b* bearable...
  22. Agree ctb the limits could be related to a data construct that is passed via their API. And no there is no guarantee the size constraints are the issue. I would suspect that with EQ and TU the bumps are due to either an internal system construct being maxed out (like an array or something that is bound...or a queue) thus the FIFO ordering...or less likely...there is a record constraint on their database that forces a deletion to add a new record at a certain size point. It is possible that if it is a construct related to their API for passing data to outside parties(like a mortgage broker) that their internal systems still contain all of the bumped inqs....though I suspect they would clean them out... I was a lead architect for fortune 100 company for many years before I succumbed to the dark side (mgmt) and we killed all data of this sort...it was deemed safer to delete it so that it could not be used against us in court...any way...going to take bobs advice and let this die..,,
  23. Yeah...I hear ya....pretty sure I could crack this nut (programming interface docs are all over the web...not to hack their system or anything but just to see how the data is structured to determine bumpsblity)..,but I can see how this could cause issue so for the greater good I will not open pandoras box....consider this a dead idea. In fact...maybe we should just delete my earlier post... Bob can you get a mod to tke it down? I don't want anyone getting a bad or the wrong idea...
  24. You know...I have been thinking ( I know I know dangerous) there must be a wy to bump EX. The reason EQ and TU bump is that their record size for something in their database has been maxed or the data structure (stored procedure) they use to return a record set or hold/load a value into memory for display or transmission has been maxed. EX does not have unlimited data storage and their software for displaying or transmitting is not unlimited either. So when a third party requests a creit report the transmission packets are not unlimited...everything is of a certain size...maybe we just do not know why the max is EX yet before B*. Anyone have ny outrageous soft counts on EX to reference? Wonder hat the data format is between EX and requesters? Sorry about the typos....just thinking out loud on an iPad....
  25. I spoke with a CSR about this last week and was told that world master card is also available for freedom...but only as a PC from an existing visa...not for intial card...just thought I would throw that out there as an fyi
