  1. Yup it's too bad I don't have either of those cards to take advantage of those offers. I would fund it with my city double cash, or my fidelity American Express to get the 2% cash
  2. Damn too bad I don't have an AA cards or a Citi ThankYou Points Card A free 50k AA bonus would be sweeet. I might start flying regularly again..
  3. Every single time that I have had this problem in his either had some error code, or tried to charge me a fee for loading.. In either case it was because they scanned the wrong barcode
  4. RA? I was wondering the same thing? What does RA stand for?
  5. http://www.amazon.com/gp/student/signup/info/ref=sm_mkt_paper?tag=hydsma-20&hvadid=40463593794&hvpos=1t1&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7026810048635842329&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=b&hvdev=m&ref=pd_sl_6gr726dnc7_b And you get Amazon Prime for 50% off for the first year after the free trial is over
  6. Q4 2015 is Amazon and Zappos. You can buy other stores gift cards on Amazon, but frankly you can probably get them for a better deal elsewhere. With Prime and such, you can find a way to buy paper towels, toilet paper etc for great deals. We didn't sign up for Prime. It was $60 but we just don't order online a lot. I guess it will be TP and household goods. Free 6 months of Amazon Student.. All you need is an email address ending in ".edu" which a confirmation email can be sent to.
  7. Thanks a lot for the post guys, it's been real real busy for me the last month or so.. But I will be consolidating everything into the original list and updating everything where appropriate as soon as I have the extra time Wowwww thats a LOT!
  8. [emoji48] What is that purple thing? ooops, off topic It's an emoticon fit for a 666 FICO lol
  9. Just tried to link my FIA Amex to my new OneVIP Serve and it said that this card was not available for registration. ??????Dang thats an easy $1k/mo I could M$.. Anyone else with a FIA Amex and OneVIP?
  10. Oh okay never mind, it just occurred to me that you are using the actual funding to get points are in miles or whatever. Smart
  11. Eight letters: USSA, & NFCU Both of those have cards that allow you to get cash advances placed directly into your bank account, with 0 cash advance fees, and no special cash advance Apr. The APR is the same as purchases When I need to move balances around, I use USAA. I haven't use NFC you yet, I have a large balance still sitting at 0% Apr, so I don't want to mix things up. The payments go towards the lower APR first To be more specific, I have the USAA Rate Advantage MasterCard, and the NFCU goRewards

  13. I think I have about 12 checking accounts lol , most of them from other credit unions I'm a member of the. As far as banks, I have Wells Fargo, Capital One, and the above-mentioned Bank of America and US bank
  14. I already have EB account. But I don't see much point in only 1%... I've been meaning to ask you if you had gambled any more with t cb??? All my EB clawed back. Oh well. Stop trying until end of this month. Hopefully some good news will come then. I just started my checking bonus crusade recently, I started off with Bank of America $100, US bank $125 plus another $100 for opening a savings and maintaining $1,000 in it for a year So $325 so far off of my first two checking accounts open.. Capital One has a $250 or $350 offer for opening a business checking.. That's next on my list I think. I'll keep you updated
  15. Only on co-branded non American Express cards like the fidelity American Express 2% cash back card, etcThe green, gold, platinum, Blue Cash everyday or preferred etc will not accumulate points or count towards minimum spend It does count towards minimum spend. You just don't get the points for the transactions. I just used Serve for $2,000 of the needed spend for my Starwood Amex. The 30,000 points posted soon after. Ohh ok i hadnt thought it did.
  16. I know (now) I'm on some painkillers that slow things down a little bit Jealous Don't be - remember there is pain involved in order to get painkillers. I'm in pain just about every single day, but the cost of going to see a doctor regularly just to write me a prescription...is purple to me. Unless it's free.. Then count me in
  17. I could see the advertisement in the magazine now .... American Express: "ISIS doesn't kill it.....it kills ISIS."
  18. Agreed. I do the exact same thing. & I don't bother with the $200 gift cards because just like you said there's no freaking way you're going to load up $2,500 in $200 denominations and no one to go to come by the Family Dollar lol I know I thought the exact same thing. Maybe that's why they killed the ISIS? Lol
  19. I thought that it says right before you finalize it and click the final OK button that as soon as you close it then its permanent and cannot be undone?I was told this by phone from a csr. I have seen the same message on the online closure. I have never closed online though. I have only closed over the phone. Perhaps it is different over the phone. But when he said it, it sounded as if he were reading from a script. I have often wondered the contradiction as well. The customer service representatives always have the most up-to-date and accurate information, everybody knows that!
  20. That's what I remember seeing too. Just open a new one using the same info.Yep that's what I would do
  21. I thought that it says right before you finalize it and click the final OK button that as soon as you close it then its permanent and cannot be undone?
  22. Make sure that you use the exact same email address to sign up for the one VIP card as you used to sign up for the blue surf or you will have problems. If you use the same email address you should be able to cancel the card and then sign up for the one VIP in the same day. I would give it a couple hours at least though
  23. I'm pretty sure it's too late. You would have to wait until the new card comes in the mail. The reason being is because the account number that's linked to the card you would buy at Walmart is a different account number and you stay with that account number unless you report your card lost. Then I'll just send you another new card with a new number.
