  1. Not really sure I've cleaned up my reports over the past few years and for some reason I could never get this card. I have no negatives on my report only thing I can think of is high utilizations but I'm working on that. It was service through Bank of America before. After Bass pro shop acquired Cabela's they switched over to Capital One. After this past Christmas I had a couple gift cards so I went online to Bass pro shop when I was checking out it prompted me to apply for the card so I tried it and was approved. 2. They finally gave me a cap1 bass pro card but only gave me $300 limit. I have a cap1 cash with a $5500 limit $4k balance And a cap1 quicksilver with a $1200 limit $600 balance I really wanted the bass pro card for the points. How can I get a higher limit? The quicksilver is the oldest of the 3 and the $600 balance I just put on the card a few weeks ago. Normally it hase $0 balance. And was $0 when I got the bass pro card Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  3. it's recently showed up on my credit report that I have a 30 day late on my mortgage from back in May this just showed up last couple weeks. I don't remember missing a payment and I'm current now and have always been so I don't know when or how that happened. Can they report late payments during covid? Will a good will letter help? What should I do? this is the only negative thing on my reports besides utilisation to high and I'm paying that down like crazy. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  4. Yes I've been paying the smallest balances first but not really rolling over the past amount to the new card being paid off. I'm just using the $200 a week every week toward the smallest balance untill it's gone. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  5. I've been working really hard at paying down my credit cards and I about $10k left over on 4 cards. I also have a onemain load with a balance of $9500. I have about $150-$200 per week extra that I have been using to pay down these cards. Should I just keep on paying them and then tackle the loan or should I roll it all into one new loan and tackle that with the extra money I have been using for the cards? 6. I don't go by their scores but I use them as a gauge cuz it's fast and easy to see progress. I just can't imagine why my score with drops so drastically and I've been working so hard to pay off my balances Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  7. I checked my CK today and it says my score dropped 61pts??? Nothing has changed except I keep paying my balances down so my scores will go up. This is so frustrating I've been paying down my balances like crazy with every extra bit of money I have. trying to get my scores over 700 again. I was literally right there. Was waiting on about $2k of payments to show on my reports this month. Did they change something?? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  8. I was thinking that as well but I'll probably wait to that for awhile. Like I said he doesn't need anything right now. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  9. I have a 19 year old that is about to go to college. He has no credit and likely won't need any u till hi finishes school. No student loans will be used for his school No car loan No credit cards Nothing he's a blank slate. What would be the best way for him to build his credit while in school so he has a good start when he finishes? I was thinking about him getting a starter card or 2 and we could use it to pay his rent And utilities then just pay back the card each month. It's about $500 a month. 11. Yes I was signing off of it so she could buy the package on her own. I didn't want anything to do with it. After all said and done she ended up not going through with it. But they pulled both of our credits. I only went there to sign my name off. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  12. About 2 years ago me and my GF bought a sample package timeshare from blue green properties. It was a simple pay once you get x amount of points to use in one year. over laborday weekend we used the last of the points and my GF was going to get a timeshare in her name only but since I was on the original timeshare purchase I needed to sign off of it So I did. Well they had my information and when they ran her credit they also ran mine. I did not tell them to and I wasn't on the new timeshare package. Now I have inquiries is there a way I can get them off? 13. Just got a call from a collections agency she was trying to get me to verify my address and date of birth and of course I wouldn't. She then told me that it was a law that I had to verify before she could continue said it was a "privacy act". I told her I wasn't going to verify anything and she hung up on me.
