  1. Pardon my ignorance but I only know of Transunion, Equifax, and Experian. Who is the fourth? Is there a way to get a free paper copy or do I need to purchase them directly from the credit bureaus. Thanks for your advice. Very helpful. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. It’s reporting 30-59 days late. So I’m still confused. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. The middle of 2015. I don’t remember the exact date. July or August for most of them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I know they can report that. But can it stay on for 8-9 years past the DOFD? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. That’s what I thought. Should I protest with the collection agency or the credit bureau? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I have credit cards I defaulted on and were charged off in 2015. Then we’re subsequently sold to collection agencies. The collection agencies are showing them first reported various dates in 2016 and that they won’t drop off until 2023. Shouldn’t they come off in 2022 since that’s when they were last delinquent? 8. I thought this was where people could come to learn and ask for help. If we were all perfect there wouldn’t be a need for this board. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m in Texas. I’m honestly not sure if I would have to pay it when I sell the current property. But fairly sure I can’t get a new mortgage without settling or be in the process of paying toward settling it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No lien attached to the property we’re in now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. They haven’t responded to that inquiry yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I paid it online at the mortgage company’s website on 2/28, including the late fee for not paying by the 15th. It looks like they applied it on 3/1. But that’s still not 30 days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I thought I needed to settle the ones that have turned into judgements in order to sell my house and buy a new one though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Yes. I have proof. They send a confirmation anytime you make an online payment and I have my bank statement. And the next months mortgage statement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. So if it’s an error on them not accounting for the short month and if they didn’t process it until the next day shouldn’t they still remove it because 3/1 is still only 28 days late. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I’m not sure what time but I paid online and it was an ACH. Even if it didn’t post until 3/1 on their end it’s still not 30 days late. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I disputed it online with the bureaus and sent an email to the customer service department at the mortgage company. It’s due the 1st and I paid the 28th. Completely forgot it because I was off from work after surgery. March, April and May have all been paid on time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Our mortgage company is reporting a payment as being 30 days or more late but it wasn’t. It was late that month but nowhere near 30 days late. I’ve tried writing the mortgage company and disputing it with all three bureaus and they won’t fix it. What else can I do? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Almost. SOL is up later this year. Some of them have turned into default judgements. Do I contact the creditor that holds the judgement? I’m trying to clear judgements so I can get a mortgage in the next couple years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How do you find out who really owns a debt? I have several credit cards that were charged off and gone to collections. I’ve been contacted by more than once collection agency for the same card. I want to settle these debts as bankruptcy isn’t an option but I don’t know who to contact. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. It's not a big deal. Most of mine report as deferred with the date. There was only one that didn't have a status and all I had to do was get on the phone with the student loan lender and the credit company and they confirmed when it was deferred to.
  23. Yes, I would be completely honest with them. If it turns out that it is a problem and you can't be on the loan anymore, you would practically be starting the application process over.
  24. Our lender won't repull for scores as long as they aren't older than 120 days. They do pull 48 hours before closing to check balances and make sure you haven't acquired any new debt. They said new collections typically won't matter.
  25. We are doing an FHA loan and we had to have been in our second jobs for at least 2 years for it to count as income. Even though DH's second job is in the same field that his full time job he's had for 10 years is, they wouldn't count it because he's only been working the second job for a year.
