Call their executive customer service and request reconsideration. I did and got approval 1 day later after being denied.

If u get denied just call their executive customer service and ask for reconsideration. That's what I did and was approved a day later

Citi pulled EQ and EX for me. Denied me, so the following day I called their executive customer service to recon. I was told they would get back to me early this week and I still haven't heard anything, but just checked my app status and it shows approved. This was for the Citi Platinum Select AAdvantage Visa Signature for 50k points that is churnable.

how long did she have the account before you asked for an increase The card was originally a secured card and she opened it in August of last year. I just happened to log in and check her account yesterday and noticed it was unsecured, so requested the credit line increase online today. Navy serves as our main banking institution too, so that may have some impact possibly as well. She has no income as she stays home with our son and that is well documented in their records too, so I was surprised to see they granted the increase.

Logged into my wifes account today and requested they raise her limit to $5k. Immediate approval for the $5k. She's pretty stoaked!

No increase was given but they have released the funds.

We probably will but I'm going to wait until they release the hold they have from when it was designated as a secured card.

They just unsecured my wife's credit card. I logged into her account earlier today and noticed it no longer had the word secured on it. Funds still haven't been released yet so I'm wondering if they just did it today. This month is her 12th month

I got one as well. Don't believe it is a pre-approval although I could be wrong.
