  1. Thank you. Yes in 12 months I’m looking forward to acquiring the Rose Gold cause it’s unique and 2 others where the limits are $15k-$20k.
  2. Ouch $10,000? No I would have cut ties with them for that amount. Fortunately it was only half that amount and even that i questioned to move forward.
  3. Thank you. I sat on this for a year and looked at the pros and cons. I hesitated specifically for the reasoning you mentioned. Amex is one of the few worth mentioning that I can get back in good graces with. Besides BofA I have a long way to go with some praying to get back with anyone else worth mentioning.
  4. Here is the update: 2/22 I called Amex Global and paid off 2 accounts. 2/23 Funds cleared my account 2/25 Received email confirmation on 1 account confirming I’ll be getting a mail application for an Optima card $700 limit. 2/27 Account shows paid on EX and got a 1 point Fico score increase 3/8 I received the application 3/9 I got nervous from language in the letter suggesting I will not
  5. Update: 2/22 I called Amex Global and paid off 2 accounts. 2/23 Funds cleared my account 2/25 Received email confirmation on 1 account confirming I’ll be getting a mail application for an Optima card $700 limit. 2/27 Account shows paid on EX and got a 1 point Fico score increase I’ll update more soon...
  6. Wow! That is awesome! Congrats again. How long before you think you’ll apply for the Platinum card? Do you think Amex will offer the CLI on the Optima after 90 days or 6 months?
  7. Was yours outside SOL when you agreed to their offer? I admit I won’t know until I try.....not just getting the Optima card but another revolver and charge account down the road as well. GFT you got me thinking
  8. The number I have for them is 800 -983 -0008
  9. Congratulations! Amex has been sending me more and more emails with this offer as they will not give up. I have to believe that they want me to pay all 3 accounts off in order to received 1 offer. Trading $5k for a $700 limit and outside SOL has me still thinking. In my case if I move forward I only hope the approved offer is a bridge to get another revolver/charge account in the near future.
  10. How long was your process from paid off collection to receiving the card?
  11. Are you able to call them and get to an underwriter? I know it’s not the normal situation and we are bending to their rules but if nothing by month end .....
  12. Also when possible can you confirm if there will be a hard/soft on any bureau? I almost want to send Global Collections an email asking point blank about being approved for one application of the three accounts if only one is paid and see what they say.
  13. Congrats on completing your agreement and receiving the offer. Please update us. I’m curious that you received a $1500 credit whereas last year I received a $700 limit on each of my 3 accounts. But I know you can only get approved for one offer not multiple. interesting enough I received an email from them on 12/31 on one of my accounts again for an Optima card offer but there’s no mention of a limit. On the 5th I received another email offer for another account. And in the past several days I received multiple emails on both accounts basically rushing me by a timeline of the end of
  14. I received an email offer again and this time for only one of the accounts. I’m past SOL so this was a surprise. Basically it’s $1800 swap for an application in the mail for the Optima. I don’t see them approving it with the other 2 accounts not paid. Has anyone had a similar situation and/or experience?
  15. Do I risk it and pay the one charge off for the Optima application (keeping in mind I will not get approved because I have the other 2 charge off acts which I wasn’t planning on paying)? Or Move on to another creditor? I don’t see trading upwards of $10k for $700 limit is worth it.
