So who is SYNCB? I must be blind, I also have a SYNCB/Walmart CC CHARGE-OFF that is also past SOL. Did SYNCB used to be someone else before? Looking at all my CHARGE-OFF accounts on paper, I now see how crappy I look!

I think the $300 seems fair and would pay it even though I am usually a stickler on some things. -
Maybe the removal is just temporary?
-
Is the CAP1 EO email address readily available by a google search? I have 4 CAP1 charge-off accounts, 3 of which are past SOL and the 1 will be next month.
-
Was it removed because it has been 7.5 years and just fell off or something else?

So yesterday I sent an honest and to the point goodwill email to Wells Fargo Home Mortgage asking that my CR to be adjusted by removing the late marks. Just received a voicemail from a woman at WFHM. The return number is for WFHM Customer Care & Recovery Group. I am sure I will get the standard, "we can't make changes to accurate info on your CR...", but I appreciate them calling back.

Just froze all 3 CRs.

Maybe I misunderstood after reading the first few lines of that thread, but I thought the specific FICO type (08) being sold by myFICO is not as important as the other FICO type (04). myFICO sells Eq08, Ex08 & TU98 . Not many issuers use those. Almost universally, mortgage lenders use Eq04, Ex04 & TU04.

Just got off the phone with NFCU. They are nice to talk to. She mentioned they just sent out an updated letter. Seem to be sending them every 2 weeks now. I haven't got it yet. Anyway, option 1,2,4 all give me the option to pay a smaller amount to settle at different intervals and once paid, will be reported as 'paid less than full balance' and NFCU will say good riddance to me. Option 3, gives me the ability to pay a small monthly amount until paid in full. Once PIF, the CR entry will be updated accordingly and I am still eligible for future NFCU services.

I have/had a Midland collection account on my CRs. One month after the DOFD on OC, Midland automatically removed the item from my CRs. Technically, it is gone from EQ, EX, and should be gone from TU shortly. So what is the date of first delinquency on the OC account? What is your SOL?
-
Is there something else I need to gather in order to get a clear picture?
-
I called TransUnion and asked for the MidLand collection account be removed like it has been for the other 2 reporting agencies. TU said they received nothing from Midland telling them to remove it. So I guess it's my problem to fix.

I still have a savings account with NFCU even though my NFCU CC is in CHARGE-OFF condition. Technically, the CAP1/KOHLS is showing slightly different information....

#1 I haven't been applying for anything at this point #2 Still not sure I understand the benefit to freeze CRs even though I have read about it more than once. #3 Planning on calling NFCU again today hoping to speak with a person. #4 What details to find out for CAP1? #5 I did the Equifax 3-Bureau Report and Scores #1 - Good. Keep it that way for a little while. It's worthless apping now just to waste HP's. #2 - Freezing your CR will keep your trigger finger at bay so you have to go through extra steps to apply. Too often people see small success and they just think they should go and apply. Not the case... the small successes are just that and nothing more. #3 - Great! I love them BTW...... #4 - Details from the 3B CR you pulled. Are all of the balances, dates, payments accurate? Do they match across all 3? Any discrepancies between them? Any chance of being sued for the balances? #5 - Wise choice on EQ if you got the daily puller. It helped to keep people motivated as I was very aggressively working on my profile. In about 12 months I went from 580's to EQ - 724 - TU - 745 - EX 726 - If you want to jump that fast you will have to really work hard and get the communities input. Don't always take the first strategy you see someone throw your way. I am not the right person for collections, charge offs, etc... someone else will chime in on that. Good luck! You come to the right place and can't go wrong here! Well.... #4 - 3 of the CAP1 CHARGE-OFF accounts are only showing on Experian so no comparison there and all of those are beyond SOL. The CAP1/KOHLS is showing in all 3 and will be past SOL after Jan 2016.

Which report and are you sure its not an SP? It's listed under Experian CR. I found it when looking at the Equifax 3-in-1 credit report under Inquiry. I assume the Equifax report is only showing me hard inquiries? Those slimy $#%$#@ that is one reason to freeze your CR's. The only HP's showing up should be the ones you legitimately applied for credit with. I see you the said EQ report. Which version? What are you paying per month? I haven't signed up for monthly monitoring yet since I am unsure as which one to choose. I just did a one time 3-in-1 report and scores for $19.95.

I was taking a looking at hard inquiries on my CRs and see this inquiry for collection services. As far as I know, I haven't seen a collection account on my CRs for Enhanced Recovery Co. This inquiry may be justified since one of my original creditors may have contracted these people to collect, but how can that be verified? Saw this thread that implies myFico score aren't as relevant as they once were. https://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=526831 So for someone who is actively doing credit repair and would like to see changes to reports/scores daily/weekly/monthly, what are my choices for monitoring without breaking the bank?

Figured I would create a thread to chronicle my repair journey. Pulled all 3 reports and scores using Equifax. It's not pretty, but a good starting point. Pretty sure I burned my bridge with Capital One. December 15, 2015 - FICOs Equifax - 600 TransUnion - 552 Experian - 576 December 14, 2015 - CK FAKO Equifax - 502 TransUnion - 497 Negative Information 30-day late notices on mortgage account ending September 2015 (started sending goodwill letters to WFHM) collection account on TransUnion (to be removed very soon) CAP1/BSTBY CHARGE-OFF on Experian (DOFD - 11/2012, PURCHASED BY ANOTHER VENDOR) CAP1 BANK CHARGE-OFF on Experian (DOFD - 11/2012, PURCHASED BY ANOTHER VENDOR) CAP1 CHARGE-OFF on Experian (DOFD - 11/2012, PURCHASED BY ANOTHER VENDOR) KOHLS/CAP1 CHARGE-OFF on Equifax, TransUnion, Experian (DOFD - 1/2013) NFCU CHARGE-OFF on Equifax, TransUnion (DOFD - 6/2014) Repair Activities Midland Funding collection removed from Equifax (removed by Midland after SOL passed) Midland Funding collection removed from Experian (removed by Midland after SOL passed) Need to call TransUnion today to have Midland Funding collection removed Need to call NFCU to work out a payment plan for CHARGE-OFF credit card I am trying goodwill with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, but not really expecting them to remove the late marks. So what now or next or just waiting? Looking for an affordable option to monitor my reports/scores weekly/monthly.

Got 8 items deleted at the same time and my score drop.

I saw those too in my searching, but was thinking that goodwill letters in email format may be less effective than maybe a hand written letter. -

No advice but I wanted to say I hope your wife returns to good health and soon! Happy Holidays to you and good luck with the Mortgage. I appreciate that. After surgeries and chemo, the body just doesn't work as well as it used to.
