  1. This has happened in the past, some accounts missing on hard copy but latter reappear. Sometimes accounts are missing on hard copy but are where you do an online dispute. Got this straightened out once but now happening again. One negative accoumt has recently dissapeared on the hard copy. It is not do off for 5 years anfd is still on EX and TR. If I dispute this account it will come back saying account not currently displaying. Now if this reappears latter and I am not notified can I dispute this off the same way as an account that is deleted and reinserted without notification?

    Sallie Mae Lates

Thanks for the replies I guess he can ride it out.
  3. My son has 4 SM accounts with lates scheduled to drop off in Feb. 2014. Experian dropped them all in June and now the accounts are positive on EX. TU lists them the lates from Nov 07 thru Feb 08 and EQ lists the lates Jan-Feb 08. How is the best way to dispute these early? should he try obslolute? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  4. No it was clear as day when the tradeline should have fallen off and they removed the drop off date. So he decided to file a complaint against EX.
  5. He filed a complaint with the CFPB and EX deleted.
  6. What's the best way to word an online dispute with Transunion on Sallie Mae to get the lates removed. I don't want the tradeline deleted just the lates.

I have four Sallie Mae accounts with late payments from 6/2007-2/2008. Experian dropped all the lates on 6/2014 and the accounts went positive. Transunion and Equifax still list the accounts as negative and now list the lates as 120 days late on 2/2008, 1/2008, 12/2007 and 11/2007. Should I wait these out or try adispute as obsolete or any othe suggestions?

  10. In my case a Sallie Mae was scheduled to fall off in June and I disputed it early with no luck. I disputed it again in July as it was to drop off in June but EX removed the drop off date and said they would not investigate again. With a CFPB complaint EX deleted.

    Sallie Mae

I have 4 Sallie Mae accounts with some lates that recently went positive. I tried disputing them in 2008. They do not say " Item disputed by consummer " but they do say " This item was updated from our processing of your dispute in May 2008 ". Can or should I try and get this removed from EX. Thanks
  13. Thanks for the quick replies I will have my son try try the online dispute.
  14. My son has a Sallie Mae account he has tried to dispute off early with no luck. Now it is supposed to drop off “ This account is scheduled to continue on record until May 2014” He sent a letter to EX asking them to delete as it is now clearly obsolete. There response dated June 10 was to say they would not investigate again without new information. They then deleted the drop off date from the new report. On the report the account went delinquent in March 2007 except for June and July which were marked okay. Did Experian make a mistake with the drop off date and if so can they just remove the drop off date and leave it on for several more months. In other words what should he do now? Thanks, Tom
