Congrats on the approval! FWIW, Platinum doesn't waive the fee entirely ... only makes it optional. If you want wifi or fitness center access, you'll still have to pony up. thanks do not need either as I can tether my phone to the laptop or iPad providing I have a signal

Credit Unions warned by NCUA: you can't let just anyone join

Reminds me of the unicard you used to have to buy in some parts of Texas in order to be able to drink at the bars. One of the most ridiculous things I had seen up to that point in my life. Thats because you can't drink unless your a member of a private club, however its always been free to get the Unicard as far as I know -
They are real quirky with Approvals... I got denied about 3 months ago, and my score was 986 out of a possible 999 on their scoring system, still declined? LOL!!!!! I guess they don't want my business - all I can do is laugh at this point! Maybe if I get a 999 score they'll approve me Wow that is insane......on another note I applied twice within a 30 day period and it said I have to wait 30 days from the date on this letter, and the letter was dated on the 2nd apply, I wonder if that reset the clock or if it was an error, is there a back door contact for them?

Send it to your Chase checking account. If you don't have one, find a $200 bonus deal and open one! Thanks I do, I was going to save for my trip in October but I can set that asside too

I have 5,083 on my Chase Freedom I wonder what I could use that for, I guess just cash back

Ok something strange happened, I origially applied in April and my score was low (around 630) so was declined I just applied Thursday again since my EQ score is now over 700 however this time they pulled Experian instead of EQ according to score watch got the 7-10 day message SMH, I was hoping they would pull EQ again as no inquires currently showing there (Not even the one from April on this card I guess just wait and see what the letter says

Was this ATM at a Casino or a Race Track, or maybe at a bar?

I PIF this account prior to the statement cutting on 7/26, and there has been no activity on this account since that date. I only use this account for the h*** of it to do some occasional small zero-fee, zero-interest BTs, then PIF after the statement cuts, just because I can, and to keep a little bit of activity on the account. Gotcha, So it could of been the current date as well anyway thanks for letting us know

Thats great they are finally getting on the ball, cv, did you have a balance after 7/26? just curious the reason I ask is maybe it has this weeks balance instead of the 7/26 statement
