I am in need of a private loan for medical school in the Caribbean. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for a lender. I have relatively clean reports with Transunion and Experian (some lates), but two collection accounts with Equifax (total value under $200). Basically, I am looking for a source that will pull TU or EX. I don't think I would be able to get a loan through Sallie Mae because of those collections.

I have started the process of cleaning up my EQ report, but I need the loan before May.

Sallie Mae won't deny you because of collections. If your score is over 640 on equifax they will accept you as long as the school is inside the USA. They won't give loans for outside of the USA. Chase, FNB, and Bankone are all closely knit with Sallie Mae.

Ouch. My Equifax score is 624 while TU and EX is 660. Thats one of my problems. The school is outside the US. The Sallie Mae signature loans are what most people use, but the normally pull equifax.

I might use a TERI loan, and worse comes to worse, I will defer until Sept., but I feel that would be a waste of time.

If you score is between 620 and 640 they will send you to underwriting. You have a good chance of getting a loan (will say inside the usa again) if you don't have anything negative. This is for sallie mae signature loans.
