Has anyone managed to find a lender that with lend to students with bad credit and no cosigner? I have applied with Sallie Mae and they won't give me one because of "unpaid collection, delinquency, and unpaid chargeoff." So, that basically describes my situation right there. I have no one to cosign for me (parents won't, grandparents won't). I tried searching online, and got nowhere.
Thank you!
I should also add that I've talked to my FinAid office, and they basically said "Wow, you're stuck." They haven't been a great deal of help so far.

If you are an undergraduate student in an accredited college program, all you have to do is fill out the fafsa and it will decide how much you are eligible for in grants and loans, no credit check or co signer needed. If you are a graduate student, the same thing, except just loans are available.
Fill it out soon, you can even do it online. Once you do that, they send info to school and school processes the rest.
Bypass your loan officer, as I have found, they do not always know much.

I should have added that it is for this year. I was given the max amount of Direct Loans because of my FAFSA, and they offered me a PLUS loan but my parents won't take it. They also won't cosign a loan. Which leaves me in a pickle.
