I checked my MIFICO report and it was showing acount opened in 1995 and closed in 1999 but the recent history is showing late payments in 2003,and 2004. i also thought the acount would be obsolete since it's from 1995.

i sent a obolete dispute and they sent me a form letter with definintions for the length of time allwed for each type of negatives. i sent another dispute to at least correct the dates for lates, not sure how long they have been showing screwed up.

Who is doing the reporting?? With student loans, they are transfered thru so many lenders/servicers/holders that reporting can go on forever. Are these defaulted loans or paid loans??

TU is reporting, and these are paid/consolidated/closed since 1999.
