I have some issues with my SL. I was in deferrment (unemployed/economic hardship). It ran out in June and I was supposed to reaply but I forgot about it until they called my relative. I called them and got the paperwork. Sent it in and additional deferment was granted Oct 7. Payments were due July 2, Aug 2, Sept 2.....they are reporting 90 days late on all of these (I haven't consolidated so there's 8 different TL).
The deferrment was applied retroactivly to July but they won't remove the 90 day late payment status on all the loans.
Any suggestions on what to do?
I was wondering if I consolidated now- would they move it to only 1 TL and maybe it would help remove the others.
I'm planning on going back to school this summer- my dh has been deployed for the last 14 months so I haven't been able to with 4 kids at home to take care of.

If I do go back to school - can a consolidated loan be put on deferrment too?

Any other suggestions/answers? Thanks!
