I came to this board because my credit was so screwed...so I figured...with all the information on the net...there SHOULD be a credit forum somewhere out there...so with a couple keys strokes and a click I found HEAVEN...

I can not express my appreciation enough to everyone who has helped me...

My credit file was thin...but horrible...
I had 3 chargeoffs...two of them are gone
I had 2 collection accounts..one is gone(TU,EX)
I had one Judgement..that is gone
I had 1 repossession...that is gone
I had 2 open revolving accounts...now I have 22 open accounts

I only dreamed of qualifying for a new home...today..my realtor showed me 3...

As long as I have breathe in my body...I'll be here to help as much as I can..

Buying a house someday is one of the reasons I'm working on my credit these days. Congrats on getting yourself there, it must be wonderful!

You're better off than me with those 3 houses to check. I can't even decide what state I want to stay in long enough to buy a house That's after I get my scores up of course.

How do you remove car repos?

awesome, trying to get my score up for a loan. im trying to get in the high 700's to 800's. just starting tho.

haven't updated this thread..... well...I got that house I was looking for...and it's beautiful....pics in the mort forum....

afewchargeoffs, REPO's are removed just like any other item on your reports...by disputes...by the creditor's inability to accurately keep records...and letter writing....

do a search on my screenname and household and you'll find some of the techniques and letters I used....hopefully they'll help....

SlickCredit, good luck on getting those scores up...it'll happen...as long as you stay here...read and implement the techniques....

sorry, I took so long responding....

I just kept disputing the accuracy of the reporting....it was totally different on all three reports, wrote a lot of letters, make a couple threats and eventually they just deleted, because they couldn't get the reporting correct.....
