Since January I have been working night and day to improve my credit scores and I received my first ever credit card - a Target Guest card - a few months ago. I was denied for all 3 of the HH trio and Walmart. So I was pretty discouraged even after I received my Target card.

After much reading and questioning I decided to give DCU a try. I called and explained my situation (stay at home mom, not wanting to put my husband on the account with me) and asked if I could get approved for a VISA on my own. This was on Friday. The rep told me that I would have to call back today. I was so nervous. Then this morning I called and a different rep told me that they had no answer yet, but hold on and she'd try to get one for me. In less than 10 minutes - I WAS APPROVED FOR A DCU VISA WITH A $1,000 LIMIT!

I am crying, I can't believe it. I have never had a real credit card in my own name before. It is all because of CB. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I don't think this because of CB but rather you're hard work and perserverance. CB provides us all tools. We need to do the work. WTG! clapping.gif
