A friend of mine was with Geico for 16 years. Her car payment just informed her that she no longer has insurance. Geico claims she missed a payment in December and sent her notice. She never recieved the notice. Her insurance was cancelled as of 1/1/05. Geico will not work with her. Pretty much they told her that you missed a payment and oh well, you are screwed. I know alot of insurance companies look at a gap in coverage. Does anyone have any ideas on who she should go through or what she should do???

Please help

Thanks!

They all look at a gap in coverage as this horrible thing. But they'll let it go after a year or two. Like it or not, she's going to pay a little extra. Tell her to check with Progressive.

Thanks JH.

It is so sad that one month of problems can take a couple of years to fix. What can you do....
