For clarification, the number I referenced did not include Intragovernmental Holdings. I believe the 7 trillion figure does.
I don't believe that to be an accurate representation, as that is money one part of the government holds for another part of the same government.

For that to be a fair comparison, we'd have to include money you owe your father in law in the consumer debt figure.smile.gif

Sorry that we can't give you a mug for this one.
The rules are first answer that matches our answer is the winner.
