I have 10 original Student loans with Citibank multiple lates. I refinanced on April 2004 so its now current and open 2 open loans. But the 10 original student loans are still on my credit report showing "Refinanced". I think they are eyesores don't serve any purpose. On TU it shows "Closed" and the lates. What can I do to get them erased?

I'm not sure what you mean when you say you 'refinanced' your sl's. Did you consolidate? If you did, your original tl's should show something like pd/pd thru consolidation/or sold/trf to another lender. But that's not going to make the late pays go away.

Try to get the status on the old loans updated to pd/pif/transfered, and then dispute the lates.

They're not eyesores. They show credit history and are helping to improve your credit history.
