My SL's are in rehab...sent my 12th payment last month and they cashed it. So basically Im just waiting on the DofE to fix my TL's.

I go onto the NSLDS website every couple of days. For the last 7 months it's stated:

Defaulted: Six consecutive payments. 5/30/2004

But when I looked at it today it says:

In Repayment: 12/2/2004
Defaulted: Six consecutive payments. 5/30/2004

Does this mean it's ready to come out of rehab and my TL's fixed?

The comment about 6 consecutive payments is for financial aid officers. You can receive financial aid again after 6 pmts in rehab. Congrats!

Fantastic.... biggrin.gif

Im obviously not looking for more SL's since these one's got me into enough trouble. But DW and I are extremely close to applying for a mortgage and need the DofE TL's fixed in order to apply.

If this means the loans are coming out of the negative status I couldnt be happier biggrin.gif ...see.

It's been a long and very hard year paying this rehab....we apply for a loan as soon as they fix the TL's.

Thanks again
