I want/need to take a loan processing class for the new job I will be starting in September, and I see that there is a school in Atlanta that is set up for student loans for their classes. NOW... I did the online application with salliemae yesterday with my husband as the borrower and myself as the student and was immediatly denied, but when I put myself as the coborrower, It said I would be contacted. Could I actually be approved for this loan? They pulled TU on both of us, I do have medical collections to the sum of $6000 on tu, and a 7 yo dismissed bk, also a foreclosure that was included in that bk. Is there any chance they would approve me, the loan is only for $1100. Thanks

Benn my experience with Sallie Mae that they don't like anyone with *blah* credit to be on the note - I had my Mom co-X for a Sallie Mae note - they ended up rearranging it so that I was listed only as a student and she was the sole borrower because I didn't qualify for crap.
