My friend had a baby 2 years ago in a certain hospital, since she was 22 when she had it, and going to school (new jersey) she was still under her father's insurance and th ins. paid for her hospital bills, but not her new born child's... due to life and everything in between she tried numerous times to apply for charity care but there were so many things they were asking for, she just couldnt get done in time... the baby is already 2years old.. she def cannot afford those bills... what can she do??

If she wasn't working, why didn't the baby qualify for Medicare?
