I've had a chexsystem entry since March 06. I tried to apply for an account at a credit union and was denied. Anyone have experience with Comerica Bank?

They do not have to remove you. There is no guarantee for removal but many are removed through filing disputes with both chexsystems and the reporting bank.

There are banks and credit unions that will allow those reported to chexsystems to open accounts. Options depend on where you live.

Yeh, i tried disputing w/chex but it came back verified. I too had Comerica...they do not remove you from chex.
