I had set a computer generated letter from a CA to the side and while cleaning I found it. It's been over 3 months since it was mailed to me. Do I leave it alone, or still send a DV letter? I'm within the SOL and didn't want to stir the pot so to speak, but have sizeable assests that they could still come after, should they decide to sue.

Thanks.

Does this belong in the Consolidation/Counseling forum, or would you like it moved to the credit forum?

Not sure, just needing an answer on how to settle this debt which is now with a collection agency. I think I could call the original creditor and possible see if they can get it back correct and make a settlement offer? But wasn't sure if I still needed to DV the CA letter? That's why I wasn't sure where to post.

Thanks
